Re: Public OOC Discussion

Finishing up work for the week today and will update the game thread likely later this afternoon.

I’m not really reading a consensus on what to do with the spider eggs so ‘no action’ would be what I will consider right now. The eggs aren’t going anywhere so you can always come back later. Also remember that in the other northern passage (where you fought the floating eyes) is a locked chest that you can always go back to as well.

I will note that while you could take the larger eggs the encumbrance (due to size) would be high. You may be able to find a buyer back in the city but right now nobody knows of a source off hand who buy them.  There are approximately 5 very large eggs that could be cave spiders like the ones you fought and numerous small common spider eggs that likely you don’t have to bother with at all unless you want to.

Tancea:
As not everyone has their status displayed if there are any other characters with visible wounds Tancea will heal them during the down time, I just need to know how many there are.

Right now everybody is back at full health.

The young noble, always in need of wealth to rebuild his house, thought of the chest. " let us investigate the chest we found."

Dysis:
That will depend.  Did I get enough sleep during our down time to regain my spell points?   Because I had spent most of what I have.    And, definitely not marching off into this, w/o being reloaded.  Although:

Everybody is back at full health and power points right now.

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Things were busy for me the past week, so apologies for being slow on the reply guys. I will do better when it comes to just questions in the game with a more timely response vs. needing to push a full update in moving you to a new location where we may need everybody's input.

In any case - right now once the group is ready, the next location to go to is past the blacksmith and to wherever that leads you, so once the group is ready to move then we will do so.

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Are there any additional actions the party wishes to take before they move on? Otherwise next post will push things forward a little bit with the assumption that you continue north past the blacksmith.

Lysandros - haven't seen a post from you in a while, so if you have anything to add please add it.

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Additionally - there is some posts in the game thread about making sacrifices. You can choose to do so if you want before going forth, but what do you intend to sacrifice?

Re: Public OOC Discussion

Starting to feel human myself now again with the flu subsiding.

So to answer your question - right now there isn't going to be much that you can hunt underground, unless you want to go back and gather up and sacrifice some spiders (probably not recommended) or try to find rats or other vermin that might be in the caves.

You will have better luck outside the mine but the party will need to roll hunting checks. Unfortunately since Itylus is now NPC (and gone) you don't have a devoted hunter in the group.

What the group needs to decide is whether you want to take those additional preparations or just continue onwards at this point.

I can become a predator with their natural abilities so I should be able to hunt prey other than Amazons. ^_^

If that is what the other party members want to do then we’ll go that route. Will look for a majority vote here.

I don't have a preference either way, service is Tancea's sacrifice to her god which works either way.

I vote to just keep going. I'd like to stop and sacrifice, but it will take another full day before we get back down to this. Prayers should suffice.

Re: Public OOC Discussion

There are references about they had rivalries but your the MM if you don't do a write up for her the fault for this is on you. If worshiping her helps the mission it would be good to know.

Re: Public OOC Discussion

I believe when you first mentioned a rivalry/hatred in the game thread I was curious and did some research to see if that was true as I will admit I don’t know a lot about Hecate. My “google-fu” didn’t really turn up much apart from general descriptions on Hecate and her role in, for example, the abduction of Persephone by Hades, her role in the underworld in general as well, etc, but I wasn’t really seeing much on her relationship with Hades.

That is what prompted my question, if you have some source that I can look at please do let me know.

I also don’t quite understand what you mean by “the fault is on me” as GM for not doing a write up on this. Please understand my position, for me this is if somebody comes in and says actually Apollo actually has a rivalry/hatred of Athena. I would want to know more about the myths/stories that support that proposition.
