This is the thread where I'll keep track of post points.  Right now, every hundred points is a new skill point.  The total could change in time.  I am trying to encourage posting, as well as giving it some merit aside from live sessions.  On the other hand I don't want to give too many skill points.  We'll try this for balance for now.

This will not happen often, however, today, June 28, is the birthday of Felicia Day, Pat Morita, and Gilda Radner(only one of which is alive to have a birthday, but I always loved the other 2 as a kid, kid my ass, I still love Gilda Radner and Mr. Miyagi.)

One of the things, I believe, that sets me apart from many other GMs, is that I am unafraid, many times, to do something unusual, or allow the ridiculous, and usually with the flimsiest of excuses, like celebrity birthdays, which, yes, inspired the pace, if not what I'm doing.

When starting my game, I started you, the players, at the starting package below the big one.  It was probably for the best, but I don't know that. We are quickly reaching a point of general familiarity with the system, indeed, the primary, in my opinion, holding us back is the lack of organization on the part of the GM, who really needs to sit and read those bloody rule books start to finish but would quite frankly rather set his head on fire and put it out with a hammer.

And so, I am making this announcement.  Why? Because Jean Reno told me to.

At the end of episode 3, Piper Picked a Peck of People, I am declaring a moderate milestone, which awards a skill point, and I'm awarding one refresh point.  The next is not intended until the end of Season 1, but like I said, I want to get you a little up to where you belong.

I have been planning to do this, but had not decided when, then I checked B-days, as is my custom.

Come on, Christopher Nolan, Jean Reno, Morpheus, Arnie, and that guy who played Egg Shen in Big Trouble in Little China.  Oh, and She Who Should Totally Go Out With Me, Yvonne Stahovsky. Kiss my curlies, she's still one of the hottest actresses I'm aware of right now.

Oh, also, Missy Franklin won gold today in swimming, and she totally rocks, but in a 17 year old still jail bait sorta way.

Ok, some of the points and what-not got confused.  I went and recounted, and I got Israel with 11 total refresh and 31 skill

Jacob with 11 refresh and 30 skill.

You both need to recount for yourselves, especially Mike, because Jacob's stunt list is a little more complicated.  I think I got it right.  And you got a 2 discount for the catch is that right?

Anyway, I'm adjusting everything since we're at the beginning of a new story.

Official count is now 12 refresh.

It also appears I've screwed you royally on skill pts.  Make sure the count I had is right for your sheets.  I'm moving both of you to 35 skill pts right now.

That's still low, but that many at one time is all I feel comfortable with.

So at this point, you should both have 12 refresh and 35 skill points.

Okay, you may need to double check my math, but I feel quite a bit more confident in Jacob's survivability and general kick-assness now.  I just need to figure out what my next stunt is.
