Oh good.  Wonder who really read book 5 to any great depth.  I got a vague recollection of skimming through it years ago.  Madness rules were..  fun.

I never even found it. Books 1 to 4 and 6, no problem. But Book 5 never showed in the shops or libraries near me. ;_;

Had to wait for the new edition to discover Glissom and Elementalists!

In reply to Tobias Garrick (msg # 6):

I suppose it was my lucky fine, first and last copy of book 5 I ever saw.  Second hand book store.  I think the original owner sold it off cheap.  Hell, I only paid 45p for my copy.

I offered 10 quid to my local library for book 6.  I'd offer more on ebay today if I didn't already have it.

In my area, book 6 was as rear as hens teeth.  Didn't find out about Warlocks and the wider world till Version 1.1

In reply to Colm Cernach (msg # 9):

Damn it, thinking about my local libraries, for 3 miles all around there were copies of 2, 3, 4 and 6.  I had to travel to the next town maybe 5 miles away to get a copy of book 1 and that made everything comprehendible.

I suppose my copy of 6 was the first and last copy I ever laid eyes on too.  I had to buy 2 from a friend since I didn't want to nick it from the local library.

Can't believe I wasted my own way of the tiger 1-6...  drying salts spilt all over it, will never dry unless I can somehow wash off the salts.  I bought a new set on ebay.

Book 6 kind of blew my mind - I'd been playing the Blood Sword books and Dragon Warriors for a couple of years, with no inkling that they were connected except by the authors. The realisation that they were in the same world was... well, more than my 11 year-old brain could take!

Why would we do that? Kores is the reliable, well-thought out type. He wouldn't do anything dangerous, surely? :op

3 Round Burst = 3 Actions AND 3 Rolls.  This seems to work ok with pbem.

I once played a game where the first skirmish (a 5 minutes tabletop encounter) took 6 weeks to resolve!

it was originally " treat the dead as invisible" level modifiers, the fire helped a lot.

Well, he'll do heal on the girl, then TANGLEROOTS on the zombie facing Colm, and DRAGONBREATH on the zombie facing the girl if its trapped.  If not, then a 2nd attempt at TANGLEROOTS vs Colm's zombie.

Lets hope it don't end up trapping Colm....

Re: OOC Thread 2.

I just need one good hit on my zombie and its destroyed! I can take a couple of hits till I'm dead.

I have some minor healing balms in my pack aswell, so don't use greater healing on me (yet)

Concentrate on keeping Carlyn alive Kores, focus your spells on her Zombie.

Hey, if I recall correctly, removing crossbow bolts involves pushing it out the other side right?  This'll be fun!
