Usopi Venia:
Usopi rubbed his chin, ”Well, I have heard of no legends of birds, but it does seem to want something. Regardless, we aught head over to that rock slide and get a second, heavy rock to place before this entrance, perhaps using some of these cattle to drag a particularly large one, and since we need head that way anyway, I see no reason not to inspect the area for anything the creature might lead us to.”
Usopi whistles for Gat, now that they were out of the barrow, as he made his way toward the rock slide.
Gat bounded from the southern end of the valley where he had been engaged in a stand off with a particularly intractable coo.
Usopi made his way slowly across towards the rockfall, Gat raced towards the raven but almost comically skidded to a halt as he drew near the bird and, whining, retreated to stand beside Usopi.
The large bird let out a gurgling croak, almost like gutteral laughter to Usopis ears and tapped its heavy beak against a massive boulder.
