Once I get a response from someone else to Lanns enquiries I might shift it to morning depending on how that convo goes.

I suppose Dann hears what happens with Usopi and Chlainn from where he is?

Re: OOC Thread 3.

He didn’t ask a specific question so much as he “informed the party and suggested using his fey power ring”. We’re already at morning though, so no biggie.

As for yall hesring the conversation, the stuff in the round house was just chlainn and myself and the civilians, but my long post back at the horses is basically shouting all that info to you all before I set off for that hill, so you should be aware of that stuff at least.

Re: OOC Thread 3.

Brannon is always against using the ring in any circumstances - he doesn't trust it... :D

I assume Brannon is with the group? I've sort of lost of track of where we are with gaving been sick: I know at one stage Brannon and Aphail stayed behind whiel Aphail went off to get high commune with Artia but I think we're all back together now?

EDIT: Of course, had I thought to look at the main thread first, I would have seen that Brannon is addressed directly, so is clearly there. Silly me. :op

Wonder if theres a whole nest of them?  Would it be better to time it so we get there early in the morning rather than at night?

Re: OOC Thread 3.

While I think tactically it’d be better to fight these things in the morning, they apparently come out to spread disease at night, which either means that we’d fight them tonight anyway when they attack us, or they’d have another night to go spread pestilence. (And if the plague DOESN’T dissipate when we kill them, the more of it there is the harder it will be to quarantine.)

Hm, yeah, ok, check out their nest.  If they're still slumbering, we got them in place, and less plague.  Lets jump them, and find out if they have a Queen....  If so we'll reenact Aliens tactical retreat as depicted in the movie....

By pile of bones, is that like, a singleskeleton worth of bones, or like, multiple skulls that would suggest this is where a beast vomits its food after eating?

Re: OOC Thread 3.

Huh.... well, Usopi would probably either not disturb them or come back after the beasts are killed, but if that’s where the monsters pule up their meals there might be some loot in the pile. :P

When Killman’s not around that’d be a suitable task for the fey ring. “Hey, please go through this pile of bones and brong me anything of any worth.”

Used to play an Assassin who was fascinated by what he could find from such piles.  But this is Chlainn.  Kores wouldn't mind if it was the steaming pile of dirt from a demon, might be some ancient selentine hardware that survive digestion... but as it is, panning for gold would be more hygienic....

Oh god wait Lann!

Before you try to summon a fey creature and commend it to go through the plague monster’s poop, make sure you’re NOT on this desecrated ground. The die tables for a place like this must be a carnival of terror. Please do not summon a fey while we are on this hill.

He hasn't.

Re your query about combat rolls, you can if you want but its just as easy for me to do so. You spent the first round activating Enhancement.
