GM:
Kores is deep in thought. He would've taken the opportunity before midnight to heal and relieve people of any miseries they may have whether that was due to work accidents or old age.
Around Midnight he would be deep in thought. He slowly stirs from his meditation to look up....

Heeding the crew's practical advice, Grwn stays well away from the ship rails, finding a safe place near the mast where the warlock will be out of the way. He spends most of his days in meditation, exercising his mind in memory games to recall lengthy incantations. His nights are restless, as the land-lover is not use to the toss-and-turn of sea travel.
Nodding in-and-out of sleep, Grwn is sobered by the loud splash heard near the ship. Not sure if he imagined it, or if it's cause for concern, the warlock calls the nearest crewman on-duty.
Looking for any signs of worry on his face, Grwn asks the sailor, "Did you hear something? Something loud? Something big? Something untoward...?
..............
Kores: "...."
"...quiet!... Listen!"
.............
Dann has been drilled so many times in unexpected events happening at sea during the night, that he reacts as an automaton. He jumps from his bed, grabs his sword and dagger and proceed cautiously towards the main deck.
.............
During the trip, Brenar did his best to stay out of the way of the crew.
The splashing sound and the commotion disrupted his sleep. He grabbed his sword and shield out of reflex and head out to see what was happening.

Having spent all his life in the vicinity of Lacklaw, roaming the nearby hills and forests, Rabbie feels quite like a fish out of water. The constant creaking of the ship, sounds of the crew working, oars slapping against the waves and other random splashing are all foreign to him. He is currently sleeping, wrapped tightly in his cloak and isn't awoken by the splash.
The sailor on lookout nodded to Grwn, " Aye, look there."
Grwn and the others coming onto the deck saw a great wash of green light beneath the surface of the sea.
" Theres something there, something big....I've never seen the like...."
Suddenly a huge black shape leapt clear of the water crashing back into the ocean with a sound like a clap of thunder.
" Hval! Hval! Whale!"
The sailor began to chuckle.....then his jaw hung open as the reason for the great marine mammals breach rose from the depths to regard the ship below.
This time the shout that went up woke even Rabbie.
" Sjo-Orm!" "Kraken!" "Jörmungandr!", went up the cries of panic from the crew as a huge green-black form blotted out the moon, the wedge shaped head split open to reveal phosphorescent jaws lined with thousands of needle like fangs. It swayed back and forth on a long thick neck at least the width of one of the ships boats.
Small black eyes almost hidden by its immense jaw regarded them with malice....
