Re: Crossing Lines
Mercy narrowed her eyes, but sighed and moved to keep Pandora sedated and restrained.

Re: Crossing Lines
A few hours pass and Pandora stirred a while ago. She managed to stay deathly still almost the whole time. She parts her lips to say something, but moves sluggishly. She wouldn't be able to speak without Mercy allowing it.

Re: Crossing Lines
Josh had been beaten up pretty badly by Ares, something that he hadn't even expected. That guy must have been as strong as a titan to have overwhelmed his natural ability to take a beating. He suspected that he had simply been unable to drain away enough force without overloading his system...

"Anything for a headache?" he whimpered, clutching his aching side as he wandered through.

Re: Crossing Lines
Joshua walks in and sees the infirmary has been in better states before this one. A wall has been crashed in letting in a breeze and a fair amount of chaos and destruction had spill through this area. The reason become relatively clear quite quickly. Lying bed in the corner with Mercy standing in a vigilant over watch is Pandora. Joshua has seen her before, not only in person, but also in some pictures Havoc keeps around his lab.

Mercy might be surprised that someone perhaps thought to be invulnerable could take such a beating. Pandora gives Joshua a sympathetic look.

"Oh. Hey." says Josh.

"Not likely to see two Mercy's any time soon again am I?" asked Josh, somewhat sarcastically.

Re: Crossing Lines
Mercy came from behind her desk, Pandora never out of her line of vision, and handed some heavy duty Ibuprophen.
She spoke with annoyed deadpan.
"Yes, just one of me is plenty.  I'm glad you're okay, Josh."
It was obvious that her annoyance wasn't with Joshua.

Re: Crossing Lines
"Just barely. That Ares dude packs on hell of a punch." replies Josh. "Any word from David? " he asked. The missing Rebecca was utmost on his priorities. "We still need to locate Bec, but hopefully we narrowed a few things down."

Re: Crossing Lines
Pandora watched the two speak with a weak smile. She sighs at the mention of David's name. With Mercy out handing Joshua the painkiller she manages to get out six words. "Want to know who Lector is?"

Re: Crossing Lines
After a quick jog across the Campus (ok, it started out as a quick jog, dropped to a brisk walk then slowed to casual stroll) Terri stuck her head inside the Infirmary.  "Joshua?  You in here?"

Re: Crossing Lines
"Sure. Had a headache, thought seeing the lovely Mercy would help with the endorphin flow along nicely."

He smiled at Mercy and gave her a wink. Was she really seeing David?

"And now I'm surrounded by beautiful women. Am I in heaven? Did Ares really pummel me into the ground and I never got up?"

After the carnage
"Well you're not in Valhalla or the Elisium Fields and not to detract from Mercy but if you're going to talk like that I think you must be delusional."  Hearing Joshua Terri stepped the rest of the way into the room.  "Not to be rude, but do you know where Dr. Havoc is?  I really need to talk with him and you are the the best source as to where he is."

Mercy gave Josh an annoyed, if amused, smirk.
"Keep it on a leash, loverboy, or I'll get the fire extinguisher."

Josh opens his arms in mock defence. "Whaddya mean? Can't a guy admire some beauty in his life?"

He turns his attention to Terri.

"To be sure, I thought Havoc would have been here by now. Mercy's probably the best we have in the healing department and he really needs to be back on deck. Give it a few hours, I'm sure he will turn up. What do you need anyway? Maybe I can help...we've been working together for a while."

Terri unconsciously moved the folder behind her back and clasped it with both hands either in an attempt to protect the folder or to protect the folder or to protect the people in the room from the filth that it contained.  "I have some information that I think he would find very interesting.  It's time sensitive so I want to get it to him as quickly as possible."

Re: After the carnage
Terri was reluctant to involve The Dean because of the number of times the word 'Jericho' had appeared in her research.  Sometimes it seemed to be in reference to an individual and at others it had appeared to be a codename for some kind of operation or activity.  Finally, reluctantly she nodded.  "I'll take it over to him now.  I hope this isn't a mistake.  When Dr. Havoc gets here could you please send him over?"  Waving a goodbye to the two Terri headed back across campus to the Dean's office.

Re: After the carnage
"I'll head on over with you Terri." replied Josh. The most of his soreness had gone now. His body was drawing in energy to heal itself, he knew that much. Perhaps a bit of sunlight would do him the world of good like his mother had always told him...

Re: After the carnage
A moment of calm finally enters the infirmary, but it isn't terribly relaxing. Amid the destruction of the fight lies the sleeping mutant assassin. Dr. Temples enters the room and stands there stunned in awe of the chaos. "Dear God..." She sees Mercy and Pandora and shakes her head. "Mercy, are you alright?"

Re: After the carnage
"I accompanied Victor back here. He went straight to his lab. I have no doubt he will come here once he hears that Elly is here." She feels a twinge of ancient jealousy for a brief moment then snuffs it out. "He needs quite a bit of looking after."

"To attack the school at a time like this? What in the hell were they after?" She glares at Pandora with a look of disgust.

Mercy shrugged.
"I'm afraid you'll have to talk to Dean Jericho about that.  I'm not privy that that information."

She tries to keep Pandora sedated, by any means necessary.

Temples grabs a broom and starts to sweep away some of the chaos and destruction. For now there was a calm.
