Dean Jericho's Office
Dean Jericho's Office has a excellent view of the campus. The high roof and dark green paint in his room almost have a brooding sense about them. He has a great deal of books on the shelves, yet there is a certain Spartan feeling to all of it. There is little personal about the space save a picture of his son, it is highly professional. He has a few filing cabinets and a laptop for work.

Further inspection can give a slightly more sinister picture, the glass is bullet proof. There are a few locked drawers in the room within arms reach. The closest cabinet is locked with a palm print and has a sidearm, a clip of ammunition, and a bottle of expensive whiskey. The door itself is reinforced with steel under the oak wood. It is a room that could serve as a decent last stand.

From Cafeteria

Kimberly rode along on the disk, gently kissing Kayla's neck and ears as they rode along to the Dean's office. She was having a hard time turning her libido off, her engine was revved and she was ready to go! "HEY! JERICHO! GET..YOUR..ASS..OUT.HERE.AND.TALK! IWANTTOBEWITHMYGIRLFRIENDANDYOU'RESTOPPINGTHAT!"

Re: Dean Jericho's Office
Kayla, horrified, blushed so much she probably could have glowed in the dark.
"Jesus Jumping on a Pogo Stick, Kimberly!!  Haven't you ever heard of 'Vinegar and Honey'?!?
Um....perhaps you should let ME do the talking for a bit, okay, at least until we get to the 'work them over with a lead pipe' part of the conversation?"

Though she was embarrassed to admit, she was very turned on by Kimberly's enthusiasm, and had trouble concentrating on the task at hand as well.

The large oak doors open. Jericho stands there looking at the two young ladies. "Please come in." He goes into his office and sits on his chair. He takes a look at Kayla. His analytical gaze rests mainly on her, primarily because Kim is hard to keep track of.

"Shouting is generally discouraged in the halls Ms. Kivper. No need to disturb those going about their day."

Still holding her girlfriend's hand, Kayla entered the office to take a seat by Dean Jericho.
"Thank you for seeing us, Dean Jericho.  We need to talk to you about something....important."

Dean Jericho stares at her and nods. "Well Ms. Stone you certainly have been through a great deal this week. Please, if you have something you need to say do go on."

Re: Dean Jericho's Office
Taking a deep breath, Kayla just plunged ahead.
"We've come into possession of some information.  It's a memo that seems to be between you and Dean Reign.

There was a roster of names, myself, Kimberly, and Joshua are on it as well as a few others.
However, By the name K.Kivper is a note:

'Elsa, she may not be the best candidate for this experiment, may reinforce negative behaviours we are trying to avoid -RJ.'

Then the response:

'When I disagreed about the instructor, you expressed that you are certain he is the best. I am trusting your judgement on that, you need to trust mine on this. She needs it. -ER'

Is there something you want to tell us about this?"

Re: Dean Jericho's Office
Dean Jericho narrows his eyes. "David warned me that there was some sort of e-mail hack earlier today..."

“One of the reasons Reign Academy was started was to protect you so you do not have to involve yourself in the violence of the world.”
He sighs. “In light of my recent failure to anticipate the enemies’ angle of attack, it occurs to both Dean Reign and myself that your involvement may be inevitable, and that we will not always be here to watch over you. To this extent we have approved for a… let’s call it an elective course. We are calling it PCH, Personalized Counter Hunting. It will involve self-defense and other matters. If the two of you want in, sign here, it starts today at two o’ clock.”

Kayla looked a bit incredulous.
"What do you mean 'it starts today'??   When were you planning to tell us about this, and what did that note about Kimberly mean?"

Re: Dean Jericho's Office
He glares a moment, then looks to Kimberly. "Ms. Kivper, your genetic talent gives you an incredible amount of potential and power. I am not sure why, but you seem to use that as some sort of excuse to throw yourself into reckless danger whenever the opportunity arises."

"I have met people like you before. One day your recklessness hurt someone, whether it is you or someone close, its that kinda of careless behavior that can and has gotten people killed. I have seen it before."
He clears his throat and draws out two papers. They are long waivers. It includes the release of liability for electrocution, burning, freezing, psychological damages, electrocution, warp related damages, stabbing up to two inches, biological attacks, chemical attacks, biochemical attacks, electrocution and so on...  "I fear that teaching you skills may serve as a further excuse for you to continue acting like an idiot. Dean Reign thinks you need this."

"I am trusting in her."
He crosses his arms. "Kayla, you mentioned you wanted to defend people against rogue elements of the meta-human community. If you really meant it, this is how. Keep in mind, there is no shame in backing off."

Re: Dean Jericho's Office
Kayla knew that speaking down to students in a very condescending way was in the training program for Deans, but she still resented it.
"Acting like an 'idiot'???  So you'd rather just wash your hands of Kimberly rather than do something to help her?   What kind of sanctimonious bullshit is that?!?   I think you and Dean Reign are both wrong about her.   And both too arrogant to realize it.  But even if you were both right, she's EXACTLY the kind of person who should get more training.  Not just ignored and left to die, if you really think that's going to happen."

"No one is suggesting we wash our hands of her Ms. Stone." He shrugs. "You have implied in the past you wanted training, here it is. Sign here and here, then report to Dr. Havoc at 2pm. that's not a problem is it?"

Kayla nearly rolled her eyes.
"Why can't Kimberly come to the training?"
