Re: Missing In Action: Who's waiting on whom?

Waiting for more sound-offs in the Reckoning thread. Still need to hear from:

- Logan West

- Von Steinhof

- Sargent Katy Cox

- Moses

- Ezekial Starkweather

- Belle Ivers

Because it's important for plotting reasons that I know who and who isn't heading to Devil's Tower with Art, Jackie, and the Dog Soldiers.

I am still not sure what we are doing. Are we headed to the Devils tower, hunting down Stone, or going for the six guns of doom?

Re: Missing In Action: Who's waiting on whom?

Hunting down the Six and Stone are outside the scope of what's going on now, which is stopping Custer from butchering the Sioux. It's an overall, long-term sort of goal. Devil's Tower, on the other hand, will lead to something more immediate -- the rescue of someone who can massively help the Ghost Dance movement (and who, if he is one of the original holders of one of The Six, might give you a lead on finding one, so two birds with one stone).

Or Zeke could try to assassinate Custer and see what happens.

I promised Kills Iron Horse I would not. Not because someone...not naming any names...is hell bent to keep Custer alive for 'history's' sake.

So Von Steinhof/Moses' player hasn't logged in since last week. I was hoping to get some sound-offs from him, but I'm going to have to move on without him.

Re: Missing In Action: Who's waiting on whom?

Apologies for going dark for over a week now.
There has been some stuff that came up recently that made me (figuratively speaking) slam into a wall hard. I've been feeling exhausted most of the time since then.
I've seen my doctor and it seems I'm physically ok, but the stress of the recent months (both work and private life wise, with my brother and all) seem to have finally gotten to me.

That's why I'm taking it easy right now and refrain from using the internet too much, except a little Netflix now and then. If you'll bear with me and can give me a few more days to get my energy levels back up, I'll be happy to re-join. If you need to ghost me in the meantime or have me wander off into the distance and re-join the cast at a later time, I'm fine with either.

Alrighty! Good to hear what's going on. IRLstuff sucks and I know that burnout feeling, so get your recharge on.

Note that after tomorrow at about 10am (PDT) I will be unable to post until Sunday afternoon/evening (at best). Possibly not until Monday.

I may be able to make a quick phone post or die roll until about 5pm on Thursday, but don't count on it.

FYI:

I'm going to be out of town until April 17th, and may not be posting much during that time. GM, please puppet my characters as needs be (even if I pop in now and again for a quick post, no telling when the next one might be).

Cold? Or flu?

Is there a fever? I ask because I've had recent experience with the ailment that seems to be sweeping the nation.

No fever, just coughing and sinus backup and my ear feels like it's full of fluid.

Both of my ears still feel like that - though I had a fever for 3-4 days first.

Sleep and stay hydrated. Hope you get better soon!

Re: Missing In Action: Who's waiting on whom?

Yikes!

You know I never recommend homeopathy for anything, but for some reason those stupid "swimmer's ear" drops always work a treat on me when my ears are screwed up.  Doesn't seem to matter why.

And yeah I've tried a droplet of water instead, doesn't work.  If it's a placebo it's one that seems to work for me!
