Moses finds himself dwelling in the tavern with Jackie Wells, Coot Jenkins, Walks The Night Alone, Kills Iron Horse, and the ever-petulant Little Crow.

The bartender has returned to his post.

"So this Path o' Stone...is it still there?" Coot asks Jackie. "Can you get back?"

Jackie sighs. "I dunno. We had a beacon to guide us down it to here, but we didn't have enough juice to power it indefinitely, and once the fellas I was with took the Heart of Darkness with 'em, the beacon vanished. If I'd been able to go with 'em, I'd know for sure. But I don't. I reckon the Path is still there, but walkin' it without some sort o' guide...well, who knows where I'd pop out? Or when?"

Coot nods "Alright." He stands. "Well, I reckon I have my work cut out fer me. I think I might know a fella who could tell me more about Stone's Bullets and maybe get a lead on The Six, but I still have things to do in Deadwood."

Jackie nods. "You and your boys comin' with us? We could use the help."

Coot shakes his head. "Don't think I can, sadly. As much as I'd like to learn the lay o' the land, it sounds like I'm gonna need to find a stronger brew for my elixir before I take any of the boys into the Huntin' Grounds. But now I know two places I can get in, and I have a better idea of what I need to do to get everyone ready. If we can kill Stone, that tilts the odds in our favor."

"Stones, plural." Jackie says. "The one who came from the future is still out there."

"Yeah." Coot says. "Well, I can cross that bridge when I get to it. Anyhow, it was a pleasure meetin' ya. I'll be in touch." With that, he picks up his Gatling rifle and heads out the door.

"What was that about?" Jackie Wells asks.

Kills Iron Horse sighs. "The Lodge of the Raven is gathering. It will mean war. They will raid Deadwood, spark reprisals."

"Fuck." Wells says. "That's gonna delay our trip to Devil's Tower, then. We gotta warn some folks, make preparations."

Walks The Night Alone shakes his head. "The Elder who is trapped...he needs our help, and soon. Otherwise, he may die, and whatever he could tell us dies with him. And The Ghost Dance...we vowed we would return before the Ghost Dance on Bear Butte."

Jackie sighs. "Shit." She looks over at Moses. "Got any ideas?"

Moses doesn't respond, seemingly oblivious to Jackie's question. Then he offers a deep, long sigh.
"Raven is gathering his forces at the head of Spearfish Creek. Moses could go there and speak with Raven." He cocks his head, closes his eyes and smiles, then nods. "The Lord is right. Moses is not with the mighty Rabbit. And Raven will not be talked down from his attack. Neither will his followers. There will be blood."
He shakes his head.
"You are right, Kills Iron Horse. The Elder needs help. Like Alexander in Mesopotamia, the Champions of the Lord will have to divide their forces wisely."
