Drugs: Should they be more legalized, or criminalized?

I thought I might post this here, since it has had a few posts.

I thought I might post that while alcohol is legalized to drink, that doesn't mean we should allow more bad things to be legalized.

That would be hypocrisy and a double standard. People have a right to abuse their own body, no matter how stupid we might think they are.

Hypocrisy?

I simply stated that because one is legalized, does not mean others should be.

As it is, allowing one does not mean an argument for all. To say that is hypocrisy is the same thing as saying that sice marriage is allowed for a couple of heterosexuals means that is is hypocrisy if you do not allow marriage to more than two partners of any sex, or with children, or with animals, or with objects, etc.

You can discriminate and still be legal. Example of legalized descrimination. You allow the state of welfare to pay for an out of work mother who can't afford rent, but the same agency does not help a man who makes a million dollars a month.

Is the agency being a hypocrite since they won't provide for all? The descrimination is in place due to structure or law.
