Leads: Susan and Allura

Conditions: Pouring Rain, Poor Visibility, Flash Flood, Mud. Good Handling SUV, Air Bags.

Driving along to Rory's house suddenly Susan and Allura see the sky open up and it begins to pour rain like a waterfall. It's hard to see out of the front windshield and the SUV swerves a bit.

"Geeze what the heck else is going to go wrong today ?"

Allura puts her seatbelt on.

"GAAAHHH!!!   Oh crap!!!"
Though not a bad driver, Susan was NOT feeling particularly daring, and looked for some high ground to wait out the rain.

Give me a roll Susan to get safely to high ground.

Susan muttered a spell for luck.

Susan manages to pull to the top of a hill away from the road. The rain keeps pouring down from the sky which is dark with flashes of lightning.

"Only Zoey would like weather like this."

Susan chuckled.
'As long as someone is having fun, I guess"

"Susan is this water from magic too it came out of nowhere ?" Allura looks all around.

After taking a moment to.calm down, Susan nodded and concentrated

Susan doesnt sense magic to the rain but it sure did appear out of nowhere.

Susan shrugged.
"If so, it's too subtle for me.  But rain happens like this now and then.  Just not often around here"

Allura shrugs and nods, "I guess so. At least it will put out other fires."

Allura tries Rory again.

"Still nothing, I guess you and me are the only ones reachable."

Susan frowned, looking anxious.
"That's very worrisome.  I hope they're okay.    I can't imagine why both of them would be unable to get their....."
A strange thought occurred to Susan, but she dismissed it immediately as idiotic.

"When the rain clears, I'm going to consider this a rescue mission "

"Yeah like someone better come rescue us on this hill !"

Susan smiled wryly
"Hopefully we'll be okay up here "

"You could make stone bridges right ?"

Susan pondered, and nodded, somewhat reluctantly
"Probably.   I've never tried anything that big. but it's theoretically possible "

End Scene with sheets of water coming down and the road they had come from flooding.
