How are things going overseas ?

They have gotten much worse here, prices up on everything.
Even though states are opening back up for business the pushing of new fears is pretty strong.
Of course I am different from people who might <-- Might HA who WILL disagree with me.

I am doing well thank you. I am actually starting a new job on Monday witch is always a bit nerve wracking. :)

We are not out of the woods but luckily the vaccine program is going well so things are slowly improving. I think that there is generally quite a lot of optimism over here because of that. General inflation isn't too bad here yet but it is going up (though house prices/rents are going up very fast which is not great for many people).

I hope that things improve on your side soon. I hope that you are doing OK aside from what you mentioned?

That Vaccine program here is going well ? I mean many people here are vaccinated but it is very weird, so I have a question. Over there do they pay you to get vaccinated ?  Is there a lottery  where if you get vaccinated you can win cash and prizes ?

The sister city to us here has paid out 1 million to a single person last week and 5 million to someone this week. Our city currently is paying out one hundred per person vaccinated.

I just want to hear if that is going on any place else in the world, because it seems insanity. To pay someone to get vaccinated.

There are no financial incentives to get the vaccine here (I haven't heard of over countries doing that either, though I had vaguely heard that it was happening in the US).

On a separate note, I heard that the smallville cast were going to act in a Jack Reacher series. Our characters need to become spies and action heroes. ^_^

Yes, i agree with Watchtower,  that the USA is a bit off it's rocker.
We had plenty of people get vaccinated,  but there are far too many people who are, in my opinion,  idiots, who don't want the vaccine,  mostly for stupid or selfish reasons.
So, the government and private industry is trying anything to get them to get shots,  including bribery and contests,  as if they were children refusing to eat their vegetables.    It's silly,  but we're getting desperate

I just saw a headline that says that in the Netherlands, they are offering pickled herring as a jab incentive! Apparently, other countries are also offering incentives.
