Susan saw a figure moving away from the cool steaming with mist rising up from them and they looked nude.

Not sure what to do,  Susan tried to follow them.  Perhaps they needed help

When Susan got closer she realized it was Allura.

She was hiding as best as she could. "Susan ?"

Susan blushed a bit, both at being spotted so easily, and with a bit of consternation at seeing Allura naked.  The woman had a very...impressive body.
Trying not maintain eye contact, Susan looked at her friend, realizing something was definitely amiss.
"Allura?   What happened??   Are....were you on fire?!?"

"You wouldn't happen to have a long jacket would you ?"

Susan nodded quickly.
"Hold on, I have a raincoat in my car."
Quickly,  though being mindful of the wet grass, Susan retrieved her stylish raincoat from the suv, returning to Allura with it in her hands.

"Thanks I am not having the best day."

"I thought you ran off with Zoey."

Susan shook her head.
"No, Zoey......look, never mind about Zoey, what happened to you? !?  Were you caught in the fire??  You're totally unharmed, and there was steam coming off you!  What happened? ?"

Allura looked like she didn't want to talk about it actually looking more embarrassed then she had been when nude.


OOC this is a good time for Susan to start a contest remember every scene is a chance to add a little drama and test things out.

Susan moved close to Allura,  speaking earnestly.
"I'm your friend,  Allura.    you can tell me anything. "

Susan tried not to hesitate at the irony insisting Allura be honest with her, since she herself had plenty of secrets

Allura looked flustered for a moment, "Look Suze, it's just the normal weirdness that always happens around here. I don't have an explanation for it." Allura looked a bit defiant towards the end.

Susan frowned, feeling a little hurt at being shut down by her friend, but she nodded.  After all, she was being a little hypocritical by insisting that Allura be totally honest with whatever happened to her.
Besides, if it were something important, surely she'd say something, right?

"I'm sorry to pry.  It's just that there's been a lot of weird things going on, and I was worried about you, my friend."
She looked back at her SUV, then at Allura again.
"How about if I take you home?  You can get some proper clothes on and relax after your rough day."

"Thanks Susan it has been stressful."

Allura calmed down and followed Susan.

"I just hope Dad isn't home. Hard to explain showing up home in just a jacket."



Susan has a D12 Insecure but Allura doesn't chose to stress her out.

In reply to Allura Danvers (msg # 27):

Susan laughed weakly.
"Yes, if I came home in just a jacket, my father would send me to a convent.  Which would be tricky for a jewish man to do, but he'd manage."

She drove Allura to her home.


OOC:  Remind me what that means, again, Please?

Allura nodded, "I don't think I would end up at a convent but yeah it will be bad. He will either think I am to blame or want to find out if something bad happened to me."

"This week is a doozey."

In reply to Allura Danvers (msg # 29):

Susan nodded as she drove.
"There's something seriously weird going on.  My magic, Zoey and Rory's powers....I was wondering if the magic I've been trying to teach you might have dome something.   No worries, though.  You're safe now."

"Yeah." Allura looked to jump at the chance.

"That might explain it. Some other kid was on fire, I wonder if he is like Zoey or something."

Susan nodded thoughtfully.
"Do you remember who he was?  It sounds like someone we need to find, certainly."

"I wish I knew, he was on fire then the sprinklers went off. I agree we need to find him. He might be at the hospital by now."

"Let's get you sorted, then we'll go to the hospital.  Zoey said something about going there to help Sam.   She said something about zombies, but it sounded like something she made up just to ditch me, frankly."

"Zombies ? Meh right now it wouldn't surprise me. Though it might just be like you said. Sam and Zoey getting together. Who knows with love birds right ? Though I guess love fish might be a better way to put it." Allura smirked.

Susan chuckled.
"Perhaps Sam considers Zoey to be his personal mermaid.    But we'll get over there as soon as we get you taken care of."

"I just hope Zoey remembers her strength. Don't want Sam to get hurt by a hug. Thanks for taking me home Susan, I do appreciate it. Sorry about being snippy before."

Susan nodded,  glad her friend wasn't mad at her.
"No problem,  Allura.   Like you said, it's been a weird day.  I know Zoey has had some....forgetful moments, so we should get to the hospital just in case.  Though,  honestly,  a hospital is the best place for that sort of thing to happen. "

Susan would have a momentary flashback to the last time she was at the local hospital,  when a mummy had tried to eat them.  She suppressed a shudder

The two arrive at Allura's Home.
