Arkham Hospital

Lead: Zoey
Feature: Sam Clay

Possible things to call upon: Sterile, Chaos, Well Lit, Patients, staff, Power Fluxuation.

Zoey arrives at the hospital and it looks like someone has jammed the doors.

She took out her phone and texted Sam again, 'Im here now, where are you?'

As Zoey waited for a response she looked around the hospital grounds for a way inside, hoping to find her boyfriend safe somewhere.

Her phone rang it was Sam, "Zoey you here ? I am up on the third floor."

"Third floor?  Alright I'll be right there.  What is going on Sam, the doors are blocked or jammed or something.  Are you okay?"

Zoey began looking for a way into the hospital and looked up at the windows on the third floor.  "Hey, get to a window if you can and look for me.  Im outside trying to get in."

"Alright I will get to a window. Things are crazy in there. I am on the left side of the hospital if your looking at it from the front. I didn't know the doors were blocked. I came here after the fire at the school. Miracles started happening sick people even people with cancer being healed. It was great but right now we have zombies walking around. I am not sure what to do."

"Zombies.  Great, because this day couldn't get any weirder.  I left just before the fire, that place is up in flames right now.  I made it rain to help the firefighters, I hope nobody was hurt.  Get ready to open the window when you see me."

She went to the left side of the hospital where he said he'd be and looked up at the windows looking for Sam.  When she saw him, Zoey put away her phone and used her Atlantian abilities to make a staircase of ice leading to the window.

"You might need to bust the window, these things are not made to open."

Sam sees Zoey and she sees him in a window he waves.

Zoey easily makes the staircase there being more then enough humidity and water.

Zoey climbs the stairs to the window and half smiles at Sam. "Okay, lets see."  She used her strength and pushed up on the window to open it, she'd rather not have to break the glass if she could avoid it.

The whole pane pushed in and snapped easily. There were some sharp edges though for the most part the window maintained it's shape. Sam moved it aside and helped Zoey in.

"Glad to see your ok, looked for you when we were all outside the school but couldn't find you."

Zoey wrapped her arms gently around Sam's neck and kissed him.  "Im glad you're okay too.  Susan and I left just as the alarm went off.  My strength and other abilities are wonky today.  I tore my locker door off by accident, the rain came down like buckets.  We were going to go to the cave and check some things out, see what else is boosted but then you texted me."

She took a step back and shook her head.  "So what's going on here?  Has anybody been hurt by the zombies?  Maybe I can freeze them in place.  Gotta help these people."

"I saw that ice staircase, wow that is impressive.  I thought you could only make tridents. As for the zombies I don't now.  I haven't seen them bite anybody but sure as hell scaring a lot of people."

Zoey chuckled, "I made a water slide the last time I was here, when Susan and Allura were patients.  I haven't really tried anything else though so Im curious to see what else I can do.  I know this place has cameras, so I need to find a mask or something to hide my face. I dont want someone to see me later doing what I can do.  I'll end up roommates with Cindy at the Asylum."

She looked at Sam then and smiled, "You saved a lot of people here today, and made so many people happy too."

"Can you make the stairs go away too ? Mask right here."

Sam hands Zoey a surgical mask.  "This should work I think."

Looking out the window at the staircase, Zoey concentrated on making it melt away.  She put the mask on after and laughed a little nervously, "Ready?"

Zoey opened the door to the room they were hiding in and then stepped out into the hall, an ice spear appearing in her hand.

"The zombies were on the lower floor, came out of the morgue."

"That's why people started flipping out, me to even with all I have seen."

"Dont worry, we'll take care of it."  Zoey took Sam's hand in hers and started making their way to the morgue.
