Zoey pulled herself out of the water and grabbed her towel.  "Thanks."  She dried her hands so as not to get the book wet and read the passage on Atlantis.

Her foot tapped to the beat of the music playing from the locker room, and she looked up to Sam, "Is that coming from the boys' locker room?  I like the music."

Sam shook his head, "No I think it's coming from the girls lockers. Kind of sounds like club music and I think whale songs ?" Sam also moves over to look at the book.

"Really?  I'll have to find out who's playing it."  Zoey gave Sam a kiss on the cheek as he joined them and smiled. "Dolphins and whales, actually.  It's beautiful."

As Zoey approaches the book it seems to glow and glimmer a wavery blue green light.

She hesitates a moment, "Is it supposed to do that?"

Zoey watched the book cautiously, then kept reading.

Zoey sees a glowing city in the book it is beautiful and more then that it is below the sea. It is lit by glowing algae and plants and majestic people are walking through it.

Her eyes widen and smiles. "Do you guys see this too?  God what I wouldn't give to go there."  There was a hint of excitement in her voice as she watched the city move.

Zoey is surrounded by the glow from the book and...

Scene 3

Sam looks to Rory, "What happened, where did she go ?" Sam's eyes went from worried to angry.

"I don't know why you even bother with those things, something bad always happens when you take books from the college !"

"Hey! The books probably save the day just as often as they get us in trouble." Rory seemed to consider things for a moment but didn't seem that concerned. "If I had to guess, I would say that she was probably teleported to Atlantis."

"Atlantis, actual Atlantis ? Not Oceana ?" Sam paced.

"I get worried every time she goes to that place she won't come back."

Rory approached Sam and put a hand on his shoulder. "You have to trust her. She's tough as nails. If I had to trust anyone to get out of a difficult situation, it would be Zoey."

"Thanks, and I know. Zoey is amazing. I am lucky to have her as my girlfriend. Any chance we can find some way to get to Atlantis too ? to make sure she is ok ?"



By the girls locker room the door creaked open and a red haired girl looked out.

Rory seemed thoughtful for a moment. "If we go somewhere more private, I can try to track her down and make sure that everything is OK for now. Susan may have a way to get us there."

"Alright, Susan can get us there ? I didn't know that. I suppose we will need scuba equipment ?"

"I'm not sure but she managed to hire a sub before."

A red haired girl came out of the girls locker room dressed in a one piece swimmingsuit.

"Hi, is Zoey around ?" She looked to the pool.

"I think that she went to the equipment locker for a rope. Is anything wrong?"

The girl looked sad, "No, nothing wrong. I was really hoping to meet her. She is supposed to be a really fast swimmer and I was hoping to get a chance to swim with her. Oh I am sorry, I am new to the school moved from California. My name is Amanda though you can call me Mandy if you want." She stuck out her hand.

Sam shook her hand. She then held her hand out to Rory.

Rory took the girl's hand as he introduced himself. "Nice to meet you Mandy. I'm Rory. Sorry to hear that. If you give us your number, I could ask her to phone you back. How long do you plan to stay in town?"

Mandy nods, "Well, I moved here so I should be around the school. I go here now."
She gives Rory her phone number.

She then moves to the water looking into it.

As Mandy got distracted by the water Rory turned back to Sam. "We should get going."

Sam nodded, "Your right."

He looked to the girl, "See you later Mandy, I will let Zoey know you want to meet her."

Sam then looked back to Rory, "Let's go."

"See you later." Rory also said goodbye before heading out in search of somewhere more private to use his powers in.

As the two leave Amanda continued looking in the pool. Her reflection disturbed by the ripples in the water.
