Zoey appears with a spinning sensation in her head in a large room that seems to be made of some marble mixed with a pearl like veining in places. It is amazingly beautiful and pristine. Above her through a dome of energy she sees a whale swimming along with several Atlanteans hanging on to it. They looks to be children and she can make out there smiles.

Zoey lets out a small sigh as the spinning stops, she smiles and laughs seeing the children and whale swim by overhead, an image of 'Finding Nemo' popping into her head.

She gasped lightly, "Crap. Of course all my stuff is locked in my locker."  She groaned then went to find someone who could help her, wrapping her towel around her waist.

It doesn't take long before Zoey finds some guards who seem surprised though not hostile upon seeing her. They exchange greetings and ask her what it is that she needs.

They wear beautiful pearlescent scaled armor and have tridents in hand. Their features are attractive and they look young and healthy.

"Well," she starts "Im not actually 100% sure where I am.  I mean, I have an obvious idea, but still.  You know?  And I kinda need to know how to get home from here."

She nervously fiddled with the trident necklace she wore, silently wishing her friends could see what she was seeing.

One guard a twenty something looking man with a light blonde hair looks at her more closely and then at her pendant.

"Were you injured ? You are in Atlantis, Lady Knight."

A school of brightly colored fish swims by more beautiful then a flock of birds.

Zoey blushed lightly, "Uh no.  I was somewhere else with some friends, and then I was suddenly here."

Her eyes brightened as a thought came to mind.  "Could you show me where I could find some relatives of mine?  Family of Van Drosa or Fah Lana?"

Guard, "We can't leave our post but one of us can lead you to an information terminal, you should be able to find your relatives then."

"That would be awesome.  Thanks."  Zoey will follow the guard to the information terminal and looks for her family, after being shown how to use it.

It takes a while but with the help of the guard she is able to find her families houses easily. Her trident necklace allows her to access a lot including how to get to her families houses.

She could walk or swim to the location.

Zoey thanked the guard again and decides to walk to one of the houses.  She had butterflies in her stomach and her heart felt like it was going to pound out of her chest.

OOC:  Zoey's going to visit someone on her father's side of the family first.

She arrives at the doors to a large home. A gentleman with blond hair and short beard answered the Door.

"Hello, may I help you ?"

"Um, hi.  I was looking for someone that wouldn't mind talking to me about Van Drosa?  Do you know him?"  She bit her bottom lip nervously, "Im uh, my name is Zoey."

He looked at Zoey for a bit, "Zoey, that is a lovely name." He notices her necklace and let's her in.

"I can help you out, what is it you wish to know ?"

Inside the house looks beautiful with columns made of some kind of clear energy inside which glowing seaweed gently sways. The walls have inlaid artwork of Atlanteans in battle. Some walls have tridents, spears and other weapons prominently places and polished to a high shine.

She smiled at the compliment, "Thank you, sir."

She felt a little more relaxed as she entered the home.  She admired the artwork and the weapons as she passed them, resisting the urge to reach out and touch them.

"Does anyone know what happened to him and Fah Lana?  They've been gone a long time, so I was curious if anybody knew.  She was a beautiful woman, right?  Of course she was, she's Atlantean."

He gave her a very curious look, "How do you know that name ? Gone a long time well I don't exactly know what your speaking of now."

He folds his arms giving a glance to another part of the home.

Zoey looked in the direction the man was glancing in, then back to him.  "They were my parents.  I was born Dhan Lara, but when they vanished I was adopted by a man on the surface and was named Zoey.  I've grown up in Maine, near Oceana, and until recently knew nothing of them or where I came from."

"This is all very strange, I am Zen Feros and my son is not really old enough to have a daughter." He calls out, "Van, come out for a moment would you."

A young boy runs out full of energy and looks at Zen, "Hi dad, oh we have company. Hi !" He says smiling at Zoey.

Zen nods, "Yes she comes all the way from Oceana."

Looking like she had seen another ghost, Zoey paled seeing the young Van. "Um..hello."

She looked confused and scared as she turned back to Zen Feros.  "This is probably going to sound strange, but what year is it?  I think there is something very wrong here, and...Oh, I think Im going to be sick."

Van looked scared, "Sick ? uhm do you need to go outside ?"

As Zoey looked at young Van she could see herself in his eyes. This was her father but very young.

Zen says the year in Atlantean terms and Zoey is able to figure out she is somehow in the past before her own birth.

She shook her head at Van's question, "I just need to sit down I think.  Something went wrong.  Im, Im not supposed here, not <i>now</i>."

Her eyes welled up with tears.  "Im sorry."

Zen motions to a chair for Zoey.

"Yes take a seat, something very unusual is going on." Zen shook his head, "No reason to be sorry at all. You seem confused. I will help out if I can."

Van looks to his dad, "Is this Fah Lana's older sister ?"

Taking a seat, Zoey closed her eyes and let the tears fall down her cheeks.  She halfheartedly laughed at Van's question.  "No, Im not her sister."

She looked at Zen, her grandfather, "Thank you sir.  I dont know what happened exactly, but I appreciate your help."

It was then she realized she was still wearing her school swim team bathing suit with the towel around her waist.  She blushed even harder and quietly asked, "Is there something I could change into?  I feel, um, really under dressed right now."

Zen nodded, "I can get one of my wives clothing for you. Come on Van."

Zen took Van's hand and lead him to another part of the house.

The camera then moved to Zoey's face as the realization of things hit.

Zoey looked like she was in a daze, her mind trying to wrap itself around her present situation.  On the one hand she was with her family, her father.  But on the other hand, she was old enough to babysit him now.  She laughed and cried silently as she sat and waited.  "Stupid book."

Zen comes back with a beautiful dress for Zoey.

"Here you go, I asked Van to go back to his room. You certainly look like your upset my dear. You didn't expect me to answer with the year I did, did you ?"

She stood and took the dress, wiping away the tears with her hand.  "I was hoping for a different year honestly.  Thank you for the dress."

"Im not sure if it will work properly with the way things are kinda screwed up right now.  But, my pendant has the last moments of my parents on it, and you could see for yourself."

Zoey looked at Zen, "I was with my friends less than an hour ago, at our school's pool. One of them had a book that we were looking at, he found it for me knowing how much I've been wanting to find the answers I've been looking for for so long.  Any way, when I took the book to read it, there was a blue glow and a vision of Atlantis appeared and it seemed to come alive almost.  People walking and swimming around.  I said that I would have given almost anything to come here.  And then I was.  Here I am.  I dont know why I was sent back so far, or how.  But I need to find a way home."

Zen said with a bit of disturbed shock, "Last moments ?"

"Yes let me see this."

"I will try to get you home, Lady Zoey."

Zoey handed Zen the pendant, "He gave this to me before they left me on the beach."

"Ahhh your pendant is not fully active let me fix that." He fiddles with it a bit then states his name and place. It seems that he too is a Knight of Posiedon.

He watches the display play out and his face grows serious. He looks down at a necklace on his own neck. His jaw tightens and his chest rises and falls a bit faster.

"I believe you Zoey, this pendant your pendant. It is the one I now wear around my neck. Van when he is older must have given it to you."

He looks her way, "So I have a grand daughter." He smiled briefly, "Perhaps this book still exists. If it brought you here maybe it can bring you back to your time."

Zoey smiled, "It would appear that I have a grandfather now.  And a family, even if they wont know it for a long time."

She thought about the book a moment, trying to remember the name on the cover or spine.  "If it is around, I have no idea where to start looking for it.  My friend Rory found it in the restricted section of the library at the University.  Im going to take a wild guess and assume it's not likely there now though.  I just hope him and Sam still have it with them in my timeline."

"In a restricted area of a library ? Perhaps that library is around now ? How old is this book ? It seems to be something important to explain what happened and perhaps to get you back home."

Zoey could see Zen's throat tighten a few times seeing what could be the last thing his son says in some future has obviously effected him.

"Im pretty sure the library is still there, but I dont know when the restricted section was put in.  My friend's dad is a professor there, but he's also a Guardian.  A group of fanatic wack jobs that are like really anti everything non human.  They try to protect the world from magic and supernatural stuff like that I guess.  Jeremy's not like the other Guardians though, he's open minded.  Has to be with a son like Rory."

She notices Zen's reactions, "Im sorry.  This cant be easy for you, Im sure.  I wish we had met under better circumstances."

Zen nods, "Yes it is not everyday your child's child comes from the future. With such news. Who is this Rory ?"

"Rory's my best friend.  We've known each other since we were little, like around the time we were both adopted.  He's one of my 'Freaky Friends'." She answered with a smile.

"I have a few friends that are special.  Two witches, a healer, and Rory.  We all kind of compliment each other, and have fought side by side more than once."

"That is quite a gathering. You said your from Maine ? I could get you there but we would need to go to Oceana first. We could then look for this book."

"Yeah, they're great.  Especially Sam."  She blushed a little.

"How do we get to Oceana from here?  I dont actually know what part of the world we're in honestly.  Would it be okay if I checked out the place before we go?  I've never been to Atlantis before, and who know's when I'll get another chance."

Zen nods, "If you promise not to speak of what is going on to Van, you can spend some time with your father. I can take you on a tour of Atlantis."

Her blue eyes welled up again and she smiled, "I would love to spend some time with him.  Thanks.  And dont worry, I wont say anything to him.  I dont want to screw up my future, or anybody else's.  But if he asks, what should I say?"

She looked at the dress, "Where can I put this on?"

Zen points to a nearby room.

"We can say your a cousin visiting from Oceana."

"Cool.  That works."  She went into the room and changed into her grandmother's dress, and couldn't help laugh at that.

Zoey gets a tour of Atlantis and it is a full city. There are universities, hospitals, a sports arena and all the trappings of a modern city. It was somehow better though, more beautiful, the people all looked healthier. Their garments gleaming in the light of the underwater glowing plants.

All around her fish swam from small little exotic fish to the occasional whale carrying passengers. It does seem like their is a symbiotic relationship with the sea and it's creatures. Very different from the way she had witnessed humans acting.

Zen described various things as they toured and Van added his own observations.

Zoey smiled with excitement as they toured Atlantis.  "I almost wish I didn't have to leave soon.  Its beautiful here, so...non human."  She giggled and shook her head, "Its different than what I am used to."

She looked at Van, "So what do you like to do, Van?  I mean for fun."

Van smiles up at Zoey.

"I like to train with dads trident. Some day I am going to be a Knight of Posiedon !" Van says excitedly.

She smiled warmly at her young father, "Im sure you are going to be a great Knight too.  Maybe you can show me some moves later, if it's alright with Zen?"

Zen looked over with some trepidation but nodded.

"Yes Van, I do believe you will become a knight it's in your blood."

Van smiled.

Zoey nods lightly at Zen and looks back to Van, "But you have to promise to take it easy on me.  Okay?"

She looked around again, "I wish Sam could be here with me.  I think he'd be amazed with everything. Zen, when I get back home, would it be okay if I came back here to visit now and then?  Just to say hi and keep in touch."  There was a hint of sadness in her question but she smiled anyway.

Zen looked to her, "Of course, give me your pendant for a moment."

Van nodded to Zoey, "But, your already a knight, maybe I can get some pointers from you."

Zoey handed her pendant to Zen and nodded at Van.  "We can compare notes then.  Maybe we can teach each other something new."

Zen put the pendants together, "I am placing what you might call photographs and video in your pendant. I think it will be good for you to know your family a bit more."

He handed it back after a while.

Van says, "Yeah this will be great !" he bounced with excitement.

"Thank you Zen.  That's really awesome.  Can you show me how to do that sometime?"

She laughed at Van's excitement, it was heart warming to her.  "I cant wait either."

As the three of them continued on, Zoey made small talk with her dad and grandfather.  She made sure to be careful of what she said though.

Zen, "You don't know how ? I can teach you easy enough." He explained things to her and her pendant seemed to be much more then just jewelry.

She shook her head and shrugged.  "Never had anyone to show me how to use it."  She paid close attention to her grandfather's instructions.  "Cool.  Thank you."
