The two are able to dry off and relax after the excitement. Susan sees a message waiting for her on her cellphone. It is from Sam saying Zoey dissapeared and Rory and him are trying to find her.


Allura is sitting in the living room watching the huge flat screen TV that shows the accident and fire from earlier that evening. She can even see Susan's vehicle they had taken to get here leaving the scene.

A second fire seems to erupt in a building adjacent to the store where they had put out the fire. Suddenly water from off screen flies through the air into the building dousing it.

The news reporter says, "Amazing a broken fire hydrant has just produced a fountain of water that seems to be putting the fire out here." In the distance a blond girl ducks into an alley. It looks like it is Zoey.

"Hey Zoey was on TV." Allura looks over her shoulder at Susan.

Reading her phone, Susan looked up, and rewound the tv to watch the "Zoey footage".  She smirked.
"Very clever, Zoe.  Well, I have a message on my phone that Rory is trying to fine Zoey.  I'll text him about the footage.  It's too bad that we missed her at the scene."
She started typing and winced.
"I'm also VERY happy that my parents didn't recognize my car at the scene of that fire.  I'd never hear the end of it."

She texted Rory.
"Haven't seen her, but she was downtown helping with a fire near us earlier.  Did you see the news?"

Adding Rory by phone to this thread.

'That can't be right. I don't think that Zoey is in Kansas anymore.'

Susan frowned in confusion at Rory's text.
"What do you mean? "

'Apparently, she has gone to a place where disco is still alive and well. I can't really say more over the phone.'

"Tell Rory I said hello."

Susan blinked in surprise, looking almost annoyed in her confusion.
Her thoughts went wild.
~The '70s'??  Is she back in time??  Is she at a John Travolta fan club party???   Knowing us, it's got to be something weird...~

In her text, she said
"Um...okay.  How about we come over?  Allura is here, too, and she says hi.  We'll be there soon."

'Say hi to Allura. I think that things are under control - but feel free to come over. We're at the library.'

Susan frowned suspiciously.  She looked at Allura with one finely trimmed eyebrow raised.
"Either it's no big deal, or he's trying to be brave for us.  I'm not sure which.  Either way, let's head over to the libarary to say hi."

She texted back.
"We'll be there soon,"

"Sure, but shouldn't we pick up Zoey ?"

Allura walks over to Susan.
"Ready when you are."

Susan smiled crookedly.
"That's the problem.    Rory says she's missing.  We need to meet to figure out what he's talking about. "

The two get in Susan's vehicle and head to Arkham University.
