Al tries real hard and does seem to be able to change his glow color but he doesn't seem to be able to blend in. He lowers his little head.

Zoey smiled at him, "Hey, its okay. You did good trying at least. Keep practicing, and maybe someday you'll be able to do it.  Dont worry about it, it was just an idea."

He scrunches down and shivers and POP he shifts into a teddy bear like form. Still Algae but in a teddy bear shape.

Zoey giggled, "Cute. You're very talented Al."

She looked out the door once more, cracking it open a little bit so she can see and hear.

The police are out there going room to room.

They will be at Sams room soon.

Quickly but quietly, Zoey closes the door.  "The cops are going room to room now.  Amanda and I will go out and meet them while you guys get your magic on. Al, I need you to stay with Susan and Allura for now.  We cant let the cops see them."

If Amanda was ready and nobody stopped them, Zoey walks out into the hall to meet the cops.

OOC: She goes without the spear though ~_^

Susan nodded to Allura,  distractedly.
"It's hard to say, but I'm assuming he's just some doofus that sensed your magic and came after you.  Maybe he thought he killed you, and that's why he left the first time."

Susan's magic detection pings for herself, Allura and yes a bit of something else.
She feels OH no she senses it close to Rory's house.

Susan gasped.
"Wait!!  There's something......near Rory's house???"
She concentrated, trying to figure out what she was sensing.

"Rory ? Why would he go there ?"

Susan shook her head to indicate she had no idea, though she looked very worried.
"Rory isn't magic.  Rory is...well, Rory."
She looked up at Zoey and Allura.
"Rory's father has all those ancient texts.   Perhaps they drew this guy??"
She concentrated on fine tuning the detection spell.

Zoey stopped and looked at Susan, "You think this guy might be one of those whack job Guardians?  I mean, Jeremy's one of them but he's not crazy like them, so maybe the guy went there for something to help? Either way, that's not good. Susan, can you call Rory and find out what's going on? Im going to talk to the cops."

"To bad we dont have a giant wave we can ride to Rory's like the Zoey mobile."

Frustrated that her spell wasn't being more forthcoming,  Susan called Rory

Before stepping out to speak to the police Zoey looked to Allura "Susan's SUV is in the parking lot. Amanda and I will distract the police so you two can sneak out with Al and meet us at Rory's.  Allura you cant be seen though. Everyone thinks you're still in a coma and have bullet holes in you. Be careful, we'll meet you there."

"Ok, Susan let's go."

Zoey stepped into the hallway with her sister, closing the door behind them.  She started towards the police at Sam's door, "Hey!" She called out to them.

The police look over and tell them to get back in their room.

She nodded toward's Sam's door, "That's my boyfriend in there, and that's where we'll stay for now.  What's going on?"

"We should be to your room there soon. Can your boyfriend be moved ?" asks the cop.

"That room is empty, we were just hiding in there because we heard footsteps. When we realized it was just you guys we came out again. I think he can be moved, though he's weak right now. Maybe a wheelchair will help."

They help get a wheel chair for Sam and one escorts them out of the hospital. They tell you they will let you know when it is safe to come back in.

Once the police were out of ear shot and the three of them could get away from the crowd a little, Zoey wrapped her arms Sam's neck and kissed him. "Okay. Susan and Allura are going to try and get to Rory's place, something's going on there. We need to meet them there."

Dismissing her golem, Susan tried to sneak Allura out.
