Back in the city the two girls are wet but safe. The little seaweed man is with Amanda.

Some police cruisers race past sirens blaring.
The seaweed man makes weee oooow weeee ooooow sounds and glows blue and red for a bit.

Zoey smiles at All and laughs. "I wider where they're off to in such a hurry.  We need to keep an eye out for that cowboy."

Al Points at the police cars in sea speak ~I like Weeeee Ooooow lights.~

"Those are police cars on their way to help someone."

~To make people less scared ?~ Al says.

Amanda rings out her hair.
"I wonder how Rory and the others are doing ?"

Zoey's phone rings

Zoey nodded,"Sometimes."

She pulled out her phone and answered it. "Hey."

Sam, "Zoey, do you know what is going on ? There is some shooting here at the hospital. I don't have the tv on in here."

"Sam? Shooting, oh no." She looked to Amanda with alarm. "He went back for her at the hospital. "

"Sam, Allura was shot earlier and brought there. Some crazy guy in a cowboy costume did it. Amanda and i are on our way there now. Stay safe please," she begged as she started running back to the hospital.

Amanda scoops up Al, "What is it Zoey, what's wrong." She runs off after Zoey.

With the phone still by her ear Zoey looked to her sister, "I think thr cowboy is at thr hospital,  there's shooting going on. I hope Im wrong.  Sam are you okay?"

Sam, "Yeah, I am ok. It's not in my part of the hospital. I want to try to help people I know some are probably hurt."

She shook her head, "Dont do anything until we get there. Please Sam."

"You be careful too. I don't want you hurt."

"Well you know me. Im usually careful.  Ill see you soon. "

Arrival at the hospital that is surrounded by police.
Some patients are being rolled out.

Zoey ran for the doors pushing her way past patients and hospital staff, and straight for Allura's and Sam's rooms. She didn't stop for anyone to tell her to go back.  "Come on Amanda!  We have to find them."

A few shouts of you can't go in there. It's not safe.

Including some police trying to stop Zoey.

Hoping the police were too busy to really notice her, Zoey tried to sneak past them.

Trouble dice

11:10, Today: Watchtower rolled 11 using 2d6.  Trouble dice.

Policeman, "Sorry little lady no one goes in. It's too dangerous."

She gets caught and moved back into the crowd.

Zoey cusses quietly under her breath as she gets moved into the crowd.  She takes Amanda's arm and starts moving around the side of the hospital. "We need to find a way inside without getting caught.  There should be a service entrance or something we can use.  I dont care if its a laundry shoot at this point."

Amanda points "Is that Susan ?"

Zoey sees Susan off to the side of the hospital.

Zoey looks in the direction Amanda pointed and sighed with relief. "Lets go."  She started heading towards Susan.

Getting there Susan is there and Allura is there as well. She is resting against a wall. Her pants on but barefoot and with the hospital gown top.

Zoey wrapped her arms around Susan's neck and hugged her friend tightly. "Thanks gods you guys are okay. What's going on, is it the cowboy again? Or did someone from the psych ward get lose?"

She looked at Allura and helped her up. "When did you wake up? Are you alright? Hey, did either of you see Sam yet?  Im afraid he's going to try and start helping people, he could hurt himself more. Allura, we need to get you somewhere safe so we can take care of this guy."

"Some wacko, it sounded like they were off their rocker. Something happened Zoey, I am not hurt anymore."

"What do you mean something happened? What?"  She looked at her friend concerned, "What do you remember? We need to stop this guy before someone gets hurt. Any ideas on the best way to get in? The cops are being really pushy and not letting anybody in."

"I don't know, Susan was there I was still asleep or drugged." She showed her stomach and there were no wounds.

"Sam ? I would get him out of there, the guy up there doesn't seem like they were concerned with who they shoot. I am still tired the drugs have my head cloudy."

Zoey glanced back towards the police and crowd. "We'll get you to them and they can protect you while the drugs wear off. You'll be safe."

"I'll call Sam and find out where he's at, if he didn't listen to me, and we'll find our way in to find him."

Spending a plot point on a D6 Useful detail.

"Hey I know a way in Sam showed me once. It is near the morgue, some of the bad kids at school sneak in hoping to get drugs or on dares to go into the morgue. It's usually open." Shows  the entrance to Zoey.

Allura sways a bit unsteady as she walks.

"Oh you found this little guy. Not nice you lead me into a trap."

Zoey helps keep Allura steady as they walk. She looks to Al "He's been helping us since we found him. He feels bad about what happened, he didn't know you were going to get hurt. I named him Al G."

She frowned at the entrance and groaned. "Ugh, this is so creepy on way too many levels.  Are you going to be okay to keep going, or do you want us to bring you back to the police?"

"Susan you mind taking me home ? Or even to your home ? I just want to rest a bit and I am really starving. Nice to meet you on better terms squirt. I mean Al." Allura smirked a bit but avoided laughing in case that caused pain.

Zoey nodded to her friends, "That's a good idea. Amanda and I will take Al with us and try to stop this guy."

Susan, being a bit distracted,  almost shrieked in terror when Zoey surprised her with a tackle hug.  But she was obviously relieved to see her friend
She listened to the others while keeping an eye out, then looked at Zoey and Allura dubiously.
'If this guy is...special. ..like us, which would make sense if he's hunting Allura specifically,  then I'd rather not split up.  I say either we all stay to eeal.with him together,  or we all take off.  He's got a gun, Zoey,  and the last time I checked,  you weren't bullet proof "

Zoey nodded, "Okay, you're right. We stick together then. But, we keep Allura between us until until we can find a place to safely leave her to rest. How about down here in the morgue? Cant find a more quiet place than that."

"You wont to leave me in a morgue with a madman after me ? Let's hope it's not prophetic."

"Uh..no that's not it. I'd like to get you to the police so you can be safe, but Susan's right we need to stick together. I just didn't think he'd come looking for you down here is all."

She turned back to face the entrance again, a curious look on her face. "How did he know you were here in the first place? I mean, if he left you for dead in the alley why come here?"

"Ok let me try to burn off the drugs."

Allura starts to glow red the hallway gets hotter and hotter.

Zoey steps back a few steps bringing her hand up to her face like a shield. "Whew, woman. Call that 'Allura's secret diet tricks; How to burn calories fast.'"

Amanda slumps, "Someone turn off the sauna."

"Whoa there, Sis.  Hold on," Zoey held up Amanda, moving her away from the heat. "You almost good there Allura?" She leaned against the wall.

It gets hotter and hotter and soon Amanda and Zoey are dehydrated.

Then.... the sprinklers go off.

Zoey stood under the sprinklers and smiled at her sister. "See, told you it woulnd't be long. Now, if we're good to go, lets go stop Billy the Kid before he hurts anybody else."

"I feel better but now we need an umbrella."

"You'll dry," Zoey replied with a nervous smile.  "What's the plan? I think we should split up once we get up there, cover him from as many sides as we can.  Amanda and I can provide fog for cover too."

"No, you get Sam to safety. I will try and deal with Psycho the kid."

"We'll play it by ear and fight about it later.  We can stop by Sam's room first."  Zoey started moving down the hallway towards the stairs.

Sam isn't in his room. Looking around it is empty.

"I am going to kick his butt," Zoey growled as she took out her phone and dialed Sam's number, closing the door behind them quietly.

Susan shook her head.
"No splitting up.   That's what got us into this mess."
She was NOT happy about being soaked by the sprinklers, but knew they had bigger problems.

Zoey hears the phone ringing.

"Alright, we'll stick together," Zoey replied. "Maybe if we hit him all at once we can take him out quickly."

She looked around for the phone worried Sam was hurt somewhere without it.

Outside she found Sam's phone next to Sam who was laying on the floor.

"Sam!" She dropped her phone and went to his side to help him. "What did you do? I told you to stay in your room."

She checked to see if he was breathing.

Sam looks up, "Hi my mermaid. I guess I tried to help people but was to drained healing up myself."

She gasped in relief, "Oh thank gods. You scared me Sam." Zoey hugged him and helped Sam back to his feet.

"Are you okay?"

In reply to Zoey Krass (msg # 55):

Susan moved to the door, to try to listen for trouble

"Yeah I am ok. Wait what is Allura doing out of bed ?"

Zoey shrugged, "Im sure there's a good answer for that, but right now we need to get you back in bed before you hurt yourself.  Please stay in bed this time? If we need your help, I'll call you. Until we know what's making you dehydrated and sick, you cant risk helping others yet."

"I am feeling better, something happened and I healed. Were trying to find the person shooting up the hospital. Listen Sam, you have a big heart. You always try to help people but you can't help people if your gone. Please listen to Zoey and stay here in your room ok."

Zoey kissed Sam and smiled trying to reassure him. "We'll be okay, don't worry. Keep your door locked until we get back."

She turned to her friends, "Ready?"

Susan raised a eyebrow,  and made an amused but sour face.
"Not In the slightest,  but when has that ever stopped us ("

"Um," Zoey thought about it for a split second then replied "never."

Rolling her eyes,  though not without affection,  Susan chuckled
"Let's go. "
She summoned up a small stone baton,  and peeked out into the hall.

"Anyone know why this guy hates blondes ?"

Zoey made a spear appear in her hand as they headed out into the halls. "Maybe he's heard one too many blonde jokes?"

"Funny short stuff."

The group comes upon Allura's room and the stone wall has a huge melted hole in it.

The nurse who had seen Allura and Susan lays dead on the ground.

The gunman isn't seen anywhere.

Zoey walked up to the stone wall, glanced at Susan "I dont suppose either of you melted this hole? Looks like water is going to be really useful today."

"Allura, you sure you're okay now?"  She stepped through the hole carefully looking around just in case Cowboy was still there. "Keep an eye out."

"I feel alright, hungry but other then that I don't feel dizzy."

Zoey walks into the room and makes sure its clear, and checks the windows too.  If its clear she meets her friends back in the hallway, and starts looking for their cowboy friend.

"Amanda, you okay?"

"I am doing ok, we better get out of here before the cops rush in."

She points at Al.

"Lets get back to Sam then. I dont want to leave him here."  She takes a blanket and covers the nurse before they leave.

Susan gasped in horror at seeing the nurse.  She felt guilt.thst the last interaction she'd had with the woman was lying to her.
Then she stared grimly at the stone wall.
"Well....crap.  Yeah, he's DEFINITELY not some run of the mill mugger on stalker. "
She sighed and followed the others

As the four girls made their way back to Sam's room, Zoey stayed alert and used the mirrors at the end of the halls to peek around the corners. "How do you think he melted through that wall?" She asked quietly.

In reply to Zoey Krass (msg # 74):

Susan frowned and shook her head as she looked at the melted wall.
"No idea.  It sounded like he was shooting regular guns, but either his bullets were some kind of acid,  or he took out a flame thrower after we left.    Though what kind of fire melts stone,  I couldn't say.  I wonder if he's got magic or something.   it would explain how he found Allura "

"He sounds fun."

Susan rolled her eyes.
"Next time, let's just rent a Disney movie "

"Maybe he has fire powers and wants to absorb mine."

"That can't be good. How did he find out about your power in the first place? Did you use them when you and Amanda were out?"

"No I didn't, all I know is I found Al there and he ran off. I followed him and the moment I turned a corner I got shot up. I think I passed out I don't remember anything till I woke up in the hospital and Susan was there. I am glad she was."

She listened and nodded as they crept quietly through the hospital walls. "Im glad she was there still too."

In reply to Zoey Krass (msg # 81):

Susan blushed a bit, not sure whether to preen with pride, or just take the complimentin stride.
"Hopefully he doesn't have a way to sense you, and just came here because thst was the logical conclusion.  If he can track you, this just became more difficult "

"Well if hecan track me maybe we can lead him into a trap."

Susan chuckled wryly.
".....yay...can't wait"
She spoke with amusement but with a noted lack of enthusiasm

Zoey looked to Allura, "What kind of trap are you thinking? If we're going to do it then we need to do it quickly."

Allura shrugs, "I don't know. I don't even really know why he is after me. If he didn't melt through that wall, I would say let the police arrest this nutcase."

"Can you sense him? Or his abilities with fire? I'm grasping at straws here, but its an idea. If either of you," she looks at Susan and Allura, "have a magical way to find him, that would be really helpful."

Susan bit her lip, nervously.
"If we could set up somewhere safe, I'll try to detect nearby magic.    If that's what he is."

Zoey looks for a room nearby they could use. She locks the door behind them just in case.

"I hope this works."

Susan moved to the back of the room, and began summoning a stone golem, for back up, just in case

Allura looks confused, "Why is this guy coming after me." She shakes her head.

"I haven't pissed off any cowboys. Susan maybe he is a witch hunter like we all faced before."

While Susan was doing her magic, Zoey kept watch at the door and window to the room they were in.  "Great, witch hunters," she mumbled then looked at Al curiously.

Using water speech, "Can you change colors whenever you want? I mean, can you blend into your surroundings?"

Al tries real hard and does seem to be able to change his glow color but he doesn't seem to be able to blend in. He lowers his little head.

Zoey smiled at him, "Hey, its okay. You did good trying at least. Keep practicing, and maybe someday you'll be able to do it.  Dont worry about it, it was just an idea."

He scrunches down and shivers and POP he shifts into a teddy bear like form. Still Algae but in a teddy bear shape.

Zoey giggled, "Cute. You're very talented Al."

She looked out the door once more, cracking it open a little bit so she can see and hear.

The police are out there going room to room.

They will be at Sams room soon.

Quickly but quietly, Zoey closes the door.  "The cops are going room to room now.  Amanda and I will go out and meet them while you guys get your magic on. Al, I need you to stay with Susan and Allura for now.  We cant let the cops see them."

If Amanda was ready and nobody stopped them, Zoey walks out into the hall to meet the cops.

OOC: She goes without the spear though ~_^

Susan nodded to Allura,  distractedly.
"It's hard to say, but I'm assuming he's just some doofus that sensed your magic and came after you.  Maybe he thought he killed you, and that's why he left the first time."

Susan's magic detection pings for herself, Allura and yes a bit of something else.
She feels OH no she senses it close to Rory's house.

Susan gasped.
"Wait!!  There's something......near Rory's house???"
She concentrated, trying to figure out what she was sensing.

"Rory ? Why would he go there ?"

Susan shook her head to indicate she had no idea, though she looked very worried.
"Rory isn't magic.  Rory is...well, Rory."
She looked up at Zoey and Allura.
"Rory's father has all those ancient texts.   Perhaps they drew this guy??"
She concentrated on fine tuning the detection spell.

Zoey stopped and looked at Susan, "You think this guy might be one of those whack job Guardians?  I mean, Jeremy's one of them but he's not crazy like them, so maybe the guy went there for something to help? Either way, that's not good. Susan, can you call Rory and find out what's going on? Im going to talk to the cops."

"To bad we dont have a giant wave we can ride to Rory's like the Zoey mobile."

Frustrated that her spell wasn't being more forthcoming,  Susan called Rory

Before stepping out to speak to the police Zoey looked to Allura "Susan's SUV is in the parking lot. Amanda and I will distract the police so you two can sneak out with Al and meet us at Rory's.  Allura you cant be seen though. Everyone thinks you're still in a coma and have bullet holes in you. Be careful, we'll meet you there."

"Ok, Susan let's go."

Zoey stepped into the hallway with her sister, closing the door behind them.  She started towards the police at Sam's door, "Hey!" She called out to them.

The police look over and tell them to get back in their room.

She nodded toward's Sam's door, "That's my boyfriend in there, and that's where we'll stay for now.  What's going on?"

"We should be to your room there soon. Can your boyfriend be moved ?" asks the cop.

"That room is empty, we were just hiding in there because we heard footsteps. When we realized it was just you guys we came out again. I think he can be moved, though he's weak right now. Maybe a wheelchair will help."

They help get a wheel chair for Sam and one escorts them out of the hospital. They tell you they will let you know when it is safe to come back in.

Once the police were out of ear shot and the three of them could get away from the crowd a little, Zoey wrapped her arms Sam's neck and kissed him. "Okay. Susan and Allura are going to try and get to Rory's place, something's going on there. We need to meet them there."

Dismissing her golem, Susan tried to sneak Allura out.
