A small favor, if you please: if you can read this thread, it means your background has been accepted. Could you please send me a PM, titled "Background", so that I can reference it later without having to dig through some long thread? That would be appreciated.

Additional tweaks to your character should also be posted as replies to said thread, so that we both know where to find them later on :)

Just for future reference, what is everybody's Time Zone? Mine is CEST (Amsterdam, Paris, Rome) or GMT+2; incidentally, it will switch back to CET (GMT+1) at the end of October. (Edit: fixed the acronyms.)

Update on my whereabouts:  I'm going to be away for holidays for a week and a half.  Blame it on American tradition.

Your arrival needs to be chronicled, good sir, we couldn't have it happen while the chronicler is asleep :P

To be honest, I am kinda flip-flopping between flashy and subtle... Well, as subtle as two angels (in appearance if not substance) can be, at least.

Still here, just busy with the Holidays and letting the others pipe in.

Incidentally... The reason I prefer to use a [GM: Game Mechanics here] tag rather than the more usual (OOC: Out Of Character here) one is that, most of the time, a game mechanic isn't exactly OOC: your character is taking an action that is backed by a game mechanic, and quite often, for spellcasters, it's not even a die roll.

Take this excerpt from Zhorr's arrival in the new plane:

[GM: casting Fabricate with Eschew Materials; the resulting product
can cost up to 3 gp.]

This is the very first spell Zhorr casts upon arrival. He's doing it. How is it OOC?

That, and I like square brackets for things that involve numbers :P

Side note: the Pathfinder Society allows masterwork tools of Spellcraft. That's another +2, not that you need it :P

I'm not sure what to do with Tilly, really... Her player hasn't been on in a week and hasn't posted in two weeks and change. I think we are about to lose our oracle.

Hi all,

I should probably drop.  The weeks of rules discussions pretty much made me lose interest.  To be honest, I don't really like DnD rules.  And the game doesn't really seem to have much else to pull me in.  Y'all can have Tilly and give her to another player.  That should make it easier to get a new person in fast-like.

Before you leave... What do you think about the actual IC so far? I was hoping it would make people more interested, not less :P
