Well I got my deck put together, now if I can figure out how to make a post I'll be set lol. I'm assuming using that CCGLackey, you more or less have to do everything yourself?

AH yeah. Easiest way would be to quote someone else's post you like so you can get all the formatting you like in.

For example if you like everything lining up nice and neat < tt > is the way to go.

Re: OOC Chatter Mk III

That's what I figured, yeah.

It was weird making such a low powered deck, after watching you guys play a few turns. Most of the people I play with in person have much more competitive decks so I tried to match your decks with this new one lol. Obviously this is with no offense intended, some people like less stressful decks and that's perfectly fine with me.

I mean I really like trying weird commanders out.

Grist, Thantis, ALL the XP guys, that chef with the really long name, etc.

I tell you what, when we do that big four player game, I'll show you a REALLY wacky commander. :D

Re: OOC Chatter Mk III

I thought about making this one chaos-type commander I've been thinking about doing for awhile, but it was hard to come up with 60 cards to use that weren't lands so I'll have to work on it some more when I have less of a time crunch lol

Grizzly:
Matt, if your spreadsheet is still available for download somewhere (the link in the Resources thread is dead), I could work on a deck later today and we could try a three-way game after that.

The new link is: https://matthewfenn.ipage.com/Downloads/

I had a look at updating it with the latest cards, but the data source has changed format - so might take a while for me to figure out if I can do it.

Hi Zarrick, welcome back!!

Again, apologies for failing to check here again after my initial messages back in Jan.

I can manage joining in with the Fatal Four Way :-)  I'll set up a table shortly.

If you right-click on a zone, one of the options should be who can see the cards in there. Just select Reveal to All or Reveal to Owner  then where it says ALL and you will be able to see all your cards. After your done select None and Shuffle for who should see that zone and it will both hide them again and shuffle your library for you.

If you want to look within a specific number of cards, that's an option too. It's under Reaval to all near the bottom as Top X.

Hmmm.  Hope Zarrick is OK.  Been almost a week since he posted.

What shall we do?   Wait more?   Assume he just forfeits his turn?  Assume he drops out of the game entirely and we continue as a three way?

Opinions?

I'd say skip him this turn, and then if this happens again for his next then we assume he  drops out.

Well good. In terms of doing what it wants to do, this game was pretty much peak performance for my Varchild deck. I was planning on moving on to something new afterwards.

Re: OOC Chatter Mk III

When I saw Varchild, I just wanted to run a bunch of effects that would bounce him, which is unfortunate because he's mono-red and there aren't a ton of those effects in red. But it's a really good idea with him because you get to steal Survivors without having to kill him off.

Her, Varchild is a lady.

https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Varchild

And while I had Conjurer's Closet in there; I really wanted to just go crazy with Rampage, especially with Nemesis Mask.

Especially with Varchild's War-Riders, if you give someone a ton of Survivors, then attack, He will chainsaw through all the survivors and still trample for full damage.

Re: OOC Chatter Mk III

Yeah- I think Grizzly's mill deck was pretty much peak performance first time around.  And Munch, you've definitely got me on the ropes at the moment...  couple more turns I'm sure it'll be over!

Especially since you're stealing my strategy now!!

Re: OOC Chatter Mk III

I honestly wasn't prepared to have that Tree stick around long enough to function multiple times, I guess I'm just used to my playgroup who run a lot of boardwipes and spot removal for threats like that. I hate winning that quickly so I wouldn't have gone that route with my playing if I had known it was going to end so soon. Don't worry though, this next deck isn't build to win fast, although you two might just end up getting tired of dealing with me and try to kill me first after you see some of the things I put in it. ;)

Yeah I don't run that many boardwipes, and in that deck "Direct damage" was supposed to be my removal. :D
