Lots of bug fixes - even an update of cards. Most significant fix was changing a variable from Integer to Long - which meant that the import of cards into the datatbase, which I'd suddenly noticed had stuck at 32767 cards, could actually continue to the full current number of cards - 35627.
Another fix is getting the rest of the images loaded into the CardImages folder... I'd almost given up, since I was getting a permission denied error - and had assumed that magiccards.info had changed their website to stop people scraping the images off it - but actually, it was a change in Windows10 that stopped the command I was using to do it from working... A different command did the job just fine!
A new feature I'm particularly proud of is that whenever you click on a card name, a comment will pop-up on the card description field (be it on the Table tab, the Deck tab, the Archive tab or the All Cards tab, giving you the card description - which saves you having to expand the line to read it... Of course, because this functionality relies on triggering a macro every time you change selection, this means that the copy buffer dies... so CTRL-C broke... But the Right-Click "Copy to Clipboard" macro still worked - so I decided to make CTRL-C the short cut to trigger that macro - so effectively restoring the normal behaviour of Copy.... (though you don't get to see the animated dotted line around your selection any more).
Another change is to improve the error checking on the Deck tab for Commander Decks so that it will take into account the new "Partner" commanders :-) I have just noticed that the "Copy Draft Initial Post to Clipboard" macro on the version I've uploaded will miss the second General though - so another minor improvement for version 11.7 no doubt! :-)
Errors that got fixed include the strike-through formatting on the Deck tab that marks the cards that are in use on the Table tab, plus some minor macro errors.
I'm sure there are still plenty of bugs here and there - but most of the time, it should just work... if you find any, please post them here and give me as much detail about what you were doing at the time, what version Excel you have etc..
Finally, I'd like to mention that although I have downloaded a copy of LibreOffice, my efforts to get my spreadsheet to work in it are so far fairly limited... In an ideal world, I'd get the macros cleaned up in Excel so that they worked seamlessly in LibreOffice as well...
I will keep you posted. Sadly, I doubt I'll ever get away from needing to have a full spreadsheet program - so if you play on just an iPad or similar, then I'm afraid you're probably stuffed. :-(
PS: The upload of the zipped CardImages folder might not complete till sometime tomorrow... My FTP is going very slowly tonight and it is over 2.7gb!
