I'm just commenting on the eclectic gathering. We're basically a kids cartoon that's trying too damn hard, except we don't have a dinosaur yet.

I'm really sorry if you reappear I am going to try and kill you. I am afraid I kill succubi on sight. I am extremely twitchy  and good at seeing through disguises, so I recommend that you don't turn up and I suggest you delete your last post until the GM sorts something out

As I said I think your character concept is incompatible with mine. I'm sorry about that, but that's the way it is.

Perhaps the GM will find a way to enforce we are together, but it would have to be a serious enforcement.

I'll post the 'I attack in a berserk frenzy post' if you want, but I don't really want to.

Mark of Justice is a spell that I have access to (but not prepared today) if we need to resort to that.

I don't trust magics. I trust that if it's a succubi I kill it. There are so many magics that can bypass other magics, and Succubi are mistress's of deception and evil. And suck souls

I'm sorry but soul sucking demons from the pits of hell are things that I kill on sight. If I fail to kill them, then I work out how to kill them, and kill them when I've got the means to do so. If it seems to have charmed all the over party members, that just makes it more difficult

As I said this is incompatible with my character concept unless the GM wields a big IC stick. I can currently think of no stick that is big enough for me.

I could deal with some evil characters. Easily an orgre or an orc. Maybe a even a drow. But a succubi is so far beyond the pale that it's not even funny.

Perhaps the GM is clever enough to make this work, but I doubt it

There may be a way for it to work to my advantage, but none of yours...
the succubus is infact hiding from sight at the moment (not even true seeing can see), not completely gone. But I think now is a good time for the party to talk amongst themselves since things have gone down hill for the land itself (Not just including the succubus incident)

Well... I can try my hand at convincing you... I mean, my case is pretty compelling IC. :p

I have the trust of the entire party, including prophesied heroes like a Paladin and a powerful cleric of Pelor. Not exactly types that take kindly to evil creatures.

I have the trust of a Celestial figure known for not liking succubi and other evil creatures.

I have the trust of a powerful, Epic Level Hero of Legend.

I'm an obvious expert on magic and demons.

It might help if I point out that - unless the GM corrects me - it is not THAT unusual for creature's in this setting to have atypical alignments. So, IC, your character might reasonably conclude that this sort of thing is at least possible.

Also, you have an item which allows you to reliably check for evil, and the aforementioned Epic Level Hero of Legend has verified that this creature, however surprisingly, is not evil.


I had the Angel in front of everyone dispel any enchantments upon me... so I'm not under the thrall of the succubi, nor was there opportunity for me to be. Certainly the idea that it has charmed ALL of the party members INCLUDING the Epic Level Hero of Legend is less likely than that its got an atypical alignment.

An alignment that you have had the ability to verify, and could CERTAINLY at least verify to your satisfaction by consulting the Tao. After all, the Epic Level Hero of Legend can probably handle the Succubus. I'm just guessing, but that seems like its a good guess.

Last, but certainly not least, you were just warned to not do ANYTHING by a "known to you" Epic Level Hero of Legend... so unleashing any sort of action is probably a bad idea.

Now, I'm sure that even a reasonable person could find some of those things uncompelling - but all of them at once? Altogether?

I just cannot see how that's not crazier than trusting a succubus.

Sorry I havent been posting as much, lot of flux in my world right at the moment.  None of it bad but its been more of a juggle than I thought.


That being said, I'm not sure what to make of this last encounter.  The build that I was given of Belroar would by all rights have me attacking the demon.  Its only my lack of time to think of the proper course of action that stopped me.
