I am glad i was keeping notes on my character sheet, because i had forgotten some parts of my character sheet, and the notes made me laugh and cry.

Re: Ooc6

OK.
So...
Whose still here? I'm not sure what I wanna do for a campaign yet but I wanna run a game on here again to get some of my ideas out that I can't in my live games.

You can play as these characters or if there's something new. I haven't really formed my thoughts on what to do for a main story yet.

Re: Ooc6

will any character knowledge, experiances, etc carry over?

Or would it be more of a carbon copy of an old character, but technically a new character.

Or is my question premature because you have not even thought that far ahead yet.

edit:
like for example (spring court: rank 1 {seed warden})

Is there a plan to continue exploring that, because at this point I don't quite understand what it could be, but it sounds like something that could be really interesting.

Re: Ooc6

I would like to think previous character knowledge carries over. To help you connect better with your PC.

And funny enough I am currently running some Fey courts in my in person game. So I wouldn't mind exploring that and fleshing that out some more

Re: Ooc6

Waiting to see how many others are still checking in here. I am checking my other game I ran too to see if anyone is there so I can pool PCs. I don't think I can manage the 4 or so games I used to try and run

Story line, I still want to try some of this Greek pantheon/theros that we last left off. My in person game ran through some of that and I enjoyed that setting so continuing that route.

The way this game was set up was great for me at least so that we could explore any number of different realms for however long until item (x) was found so.

Re: Ooc6

So lo9king back to where the Fey was, you can continue the fey spring court or even finding other courts. But as this world stands there are magic rifts all over that  can get you from realm to realm.

At the moment, your group was headed into the Theros (Greek) city where an oracle had just been saved from undead soldiers.

If we want to continue from there?

Only 4 of us are here, the others are now gone apparently. No Mabrook and several others gone too.

Should we blend with the other group? Or hire new folks here Cory? Up to you, you're DM. One game, or two?

Re: Ooc6

while we are waiting i think it would be a good idea to re-introduce our selves or at the very least bake sure our party facing charter description is accurate and up to date.

Balli stands an imposing 8 ft 3 inches tall, in days and years past he was often seen practicing with his bow which cut an imposing silhouette at 12 ft long. Though he still denies it, rumors still persist that the bow was made from the thigh bone of a red dragon he brought down with no small amount of help. He no longer carries that bow, or any possessions beside a pair of pants that meet the requirements of modesty.

Backstory: Balli was, and still is a competitive athlete, but when he was just a child, his tribe was killed off by an unforeseen threat while he was away. He went on a reckless revenge mission, well he meant to go on one any way. But fortunately he ran into a particularly stubborn cleric of St Cuthbert, to say that the cleric's lessons on honor and justice, were hard would be an understatement. But Balli learned many lessons, and from those lessons comes a strong code of conduct. At times he seems brutal, and at others gentle. He is fiercely loyal to his friends and a fierce champion of justice, but rare are the occasion that he shows mercy to the wrong doer. The single sliver of mercy once existed in his weapon of choice. It has never been used to kill any creature. His bow is a critical part of any legend or story told about him. Many of those stories end with Balli bringing some outlaw unconscious into town to face justice. But now the stories continue without the bow, they continue without mention of any equipment at all.

He long ago brought his brand of justice to his home region with the assistance of the stubborn priest of St Cuthbert. He and the priest have since parted ways under strained circumstances because Balli's concept of justice is too ridged and leave no room for mercy, he now wanders the world seeking the lost heirlooms of his tribe, and fighting for the brutality of unfeeling fairness and justice.

His name was given to him by his childhood friends who called him Balli which is short for ballista. This is because he favorite bow was taller then he is and once fired a ballista bolt from his bow to prove he could.

Goals: to recover all 144 tribal heirlooms, that were stolen when his tribe was killed.

code of conduct
  1. a brandished weapon never speeds the trip to peace
    • Never attack first.

  2. the law exists for a reason and applies equally to all.
    • if the law does not apply equally to all, it applies to none

  3. a drop of sweat is worth more then all the magic in the world
    • Never use magic when hard work can get the job done.
    • Never accept magic to be used on his behalf, if you are capable of doing without.
    • Never carry or use any magic item.

  4. Never carry more then you need
    • his needs begin and end with modesty

At 5'10" and 190 pounds, dressed in black robes with silver runes and an eye sewn into it. He carries a Mace and a light crossbow hanging at his hip on a lanyard. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes that are piercing. His shield has an all seeing eye painted on it as well.

He is a Dracolyte of Chronepsis the All seeing.

Looks like just 4 of us are left. We recruiting, or are you checking with them to see if they wish to continue Cory? Or both.

Re: Ooc6

Torquil is an elf of ancient origin.  He's lived many lives and traveled countless worlds.  Standing around 5' tall weight slightly over 90 pounds, he has a quite average build for his race.  His pointed ears can be hidden underneath his golden hair, with strands of silver mirroring the flecks of silver in his lavender eyes.  He carries with him an archaic bastard sword made of a black metal which he refers to as "Midnight", and an old bone bow called "Starburst".  He recently acquired a Kukri of unknown origin he's named "Primrose".

Kukri Description: Its blade is a bright clear yellow, like that of the Oenothera flowers.  And its grip looks like several leaves that have burgundy tint, all with a single red stem from handle to blade tip.

Relwyk is a petite spellscale with blue skin, purple eyes, and cute as a button. She is a sorceress and as such carries mundane weapons of no special significance. She has a few minor items that can be picked up in any city. At one point she had an Artifact, a book of Infinite spells, but it was lost during a transition from one world to another.

losing an artifact. that sucks on another level.

Well that make me feel better about the the cost Balli paid to earn the lowest rank in the spring court.
