Just wanted to drop some newly created posts in with their NPC profiles.

Excellent. Glad to see everyone exists. :) And fortunately we've avoided a repeat of Treasures, with almost everyone's names starting the same way. :)

OOC I asked Tol to trim down the list of NPCs and they're all basically loyal to him/her.  The ones that I'm communicating as under the 'dungeon master' profile are the ones Tol determined should leave.  The others have already predetermined to stay.  Just making sure we all have the same information.

As requested, I've been thinking about character arcs. Tolantra is a fighter (wandering ironsmith)/cleric of Haela. There are a couple of arcs that stand out to me:

* Defeat a foe: Haela is the goddess of dwarven monster slayers. Tolantra would like to find and kill a powerful monster. Ideally it would be threatening dwarves, but some piece of civilization along the Sword Coast is acceptable. It has to be threatening people; she doesn't want to just trudge into the High Moor in search of random trolls.

* Explore/Uncover a Secret: Tolantra's long-term, pie-in-the-sky goal would be to found a new dwarven community. One built on the openness and flexibility she sees as imperative for modern dwarves. As such, she's very interested in seeing whether she can use the old map to find the dwarven tunnels, and whether they are still habitable.

* Explore: In much the same way, she'd like to determine whether there actually is silver in the hills outside Bowshot, and whether it's practical to mine it. Depending on the size of the vein, she would either want to hire human miners or start bringing in dwarves to become a sort of proto-community.

* Creation: Tolantra is a very good engraver, and the final battle against the priests and undead was epic. She would like to create a large (2'x3'? 3'x4'?) metal engraving of the battle, suitable for display in a temple of Haela. The medium would have to be a metal that doesn't rust, which she would probably create herself (bluesteeled steel? bronze? some other sort of anti-rust treatment? I imagine dwarven engraving artists would have figured something out centuries ago, even if it wasn't a treatment that would work on weapons)

I haven't forgotten about the drow women, but I'm a bit at a loss for that one. Maybe a character arc about finding Eilistraeen who could take them? Anyway, those are my initial thoughts.

Aside from giving a more detailed report to Sherlen's people, which we can assume is done off-camera, I'm done with interactions for the moment and am ready to move forward.

Great. I think Heluvianal has something he wants to tend to first, and then I'll advance to the next day. Tol has had a very full day indeed here in town!

I was about to delete this game when it said to make sure to notify the players.  When I notified Tolantra, she indicated that she wanted to continue and could commit time.  Therefore, we should be resuming.

I've just started a new course of pain killers for RSI in my right shoulder, this has made me feel all woozy and woolly headed, so please bear with me whilst I try and get my head around what's going on in games.

You're a wild/wood elf, so you know them. Spriggans, Faeries, Unicorns, etc... A wilders natural order.  Sometimes fey beings will live in disguise in human settlements at the intersections of ley lines. The Laughing Hollow is a magical place, so is Unicorn Run, and the Grandfather tree.

Not evil, but alien. In OD&D they were always aligned with chaos

No just got slammed and gave my priority to Treasures to try to integrate the new players more fully
