A sudden flash of white light erupted their vision giving birth to a life-like scenery in-front of them. All around them was nothing but sand, A desolated tundra. Small sandy-like hills form an illusion of a thousand lumps forming together in the sand as they look further beyond. There was not even a single sign of life to be found. All radars point to a Nav point 1400 meters south east of their current position yet no sign of enemy signatures.

When moving, announce the number of distance, whether it is a run or a walk and type in the hex number you'll end up in.

Garuss wasted no time, surging his mech forward "Moving to objective,over". He kept his eyes open, but speed was his ally, this was not the time to deny his mech it's true saving grace.

Garuss brought selected a pair of medium lasers, and quickly brought the reticule to bear on the closest of the two light tanks. Lining up the shot, he squeezed, sending a pair of bright lances searing towards his target.

With Zellbrigen broken by the targets engaging Heretic, he was no longer honor bound to hold it up. "Enemy Commando, 2D variant inbound" he spoke before continuing to move his mech forward. This time he Brought his weapons to bear on the mauled Scout tank, seeking to finish it before it could continue to be a threat. This time he added his small laser into the mix, hoping to score a killing hit and remove the threat.

Garuss gains a portion of his pride back as all three lasers land on his target. A heat wave washing over his frame as he pushes his mech's heat limits a bit, hoping it was worth it.

Despite it being a simulation, Nicholas winced as the beams missed him. Hearing about the new contact brought some relief; at least no annoying LRM salvos to worry about.

"Roger. Clearing the rabble for an easier time. Try not to kill him before I finish up here."

With that, Nicholas moved closer for a visual on the reported Commando, firing on the Scorpion in the meantime.

Garuss' pod rocked and shook, simulating the impact of the incoming attack. He fought with the controls, his goal had been achieved, the other light tank was about to die. He was going to be able to focus his attention fully on his target, the Commando, Alright you Dezgra bandit,you have my attention.

He maneuvered his mech from the point of contact, regrouping with Nicholas, for a more unified front. He lines up a single medium laser this time, in hopes of allowing his mech to cool off. Smiling wolfishly as his laser lashed across the Commando's cockpit.

Garuss felt his the pod shake as the laser lanced into his the mech's left torso, sirens wailing as vital internal structure took abuse, but thankfully still held. He urged the Mongoose to the east and back hoping to bait the Commando after him.

Lining up his target as he ran his virtual mech forward, this time bringing up a trio of medium lasers, hoping to either finish the Commando off, or at least leave it open for Nicholas. He growled his frustration as two beams went wide, though he found some solace in having one of the lasers burning an angry injury into the target's left arm.

Switching to just his lasers to avoid a shutdown, Nicholas rushed up to the enemy mech and fired at point blank. With any luck, he'd draw some attention or deal a good amount of damage.

He struggled with the controls as the SRMS peppered his mech with damage "Aff, they smell blood" he chuckled softly. Gaurss walked the mech backwards, seeing the Commando with deep injuries, he risked firing two Medium Lasers. He snarled as the two beams went wide, he'd been spoiled in his upbringing. A clan Omnimech mounting clan Weapons, of the same weight class would have fared far better, at least the weapons would be able to reach out further.

He slammed the controls of his ride to the left to help counter balance the loss of the mech's right arm, trying to couter the pull to the ground. Then again, he'd been breed for this, so while he gave a grunt of effort, it wasn't out of the normal for him.

Garuss saw the damage inflicted on the Commando, and decided to keep up his rate of fire. Queuing up the two Medium Lasers that still remained he opened fire again on his target as he piloted his mech to the east and back, trying to keep the mech at a range to cause trouble for the missile launchers.

The PPC went right into the commando's cockpit, forcing the pilot to eject. "Congratulations Mechwarriors, mission succe-" a sudden whirring started within the simulator, the field of view started glitching as 2 new contacts just appeared out of nowhere.
