Skills:
  • Tough - passive; Earth ponies take an additional hit before becoming helpless (for a total of 6), and they can lift, carry and move heavier objects than unicorns or pegasi.
  • Slam - deals a crushing blow to the enemy via body slam. Heavier armor increases crit range (9+ for Heavy; 8+ for Superheavy)
  • Superheavy Proficiency - passive; you are able to equip Super Heavy Armour
  • Last Stand - Immune to all damage for three turns, but rendered helpless afterwards.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Inventory:

  • Superheavy Armor (Excessive Full Plate)
  • Saddlebags
  • Rations
  • Bedroll
  • A table fork
  • Pint of oil
  • Plush bunny

Background: A pile of her fallen enemies

Appearance: A giant, forest green Earth Pony with a fiery red mane and tail with eyes that match her mane, who would be more beautiful if she did not walk around in her armor all the time, thus obscuring virtually every single feature she has.

A leanly-built and long-legged male pony, with green almond-shaped eyes and a mane and tail of dark/night blue with a pale white coat.  His mane and tail are kept straight, and cut short to keep from tangling.
For those curious, his name comes from the sound of his hoof-steps

Re: Cast List
Name: Huginn
Race: Pegasus
Gender: Female
Cutie Mark: A Magician's Hat (Spell Casting)
Class: Thaumaturge (Cleric/Mage)
Alignment: True Neutral
Skills:
  • Pegasus Flight - Passive; Pegasi can fly wearing up to medium armor, and get a +1 bonus to actively evade and dodge midair. This is about as taxing as running at full speed.
  • Master Caster - Passive; counts 5 as a success with spellcasting, and can use divine spells without a deity
  • Heal - spell; mends the wounds of an ally. Required to survive harder beatings.
  • Freeze - spell, recharge 2; the target is rendered helpless on a crit. Objects become easier to shatter, and surfaces become slippery. Any character that fails an action while on a frozen surface becomes helpless.

Inventory:
  • Saddlebags
  • Arcane Fetish (A Magician's Cloak)
  • Spellbook
  • Light Ironweave Armor
  • Travel rations
  • Knife
  • Bedroll
  • Lantern

This statuesque female Pegasus is cultured and cunning. Her coat is ebony and her mane remind you of a plume of smoke. Her narrow eyes are blood red.

Re: Cast List
Name: Samedi
Race: Unicorn
Gender: Male
Cutie Mark: A ghostly whisp and a horse skull (can see and converse with spirits and the dead)
Class: Necromancer
Alignment: True Good
Skills:
  • Improved Spellcasting - Passive; for each spell you know or learn, you also learn an Improved version of that spell. Whenever you cast the spell, you may cast either the normal or Improved version.
  • Unicorn Telekinesis - Spell; manipulate objects through sheer force of will. Complex tasks and heavier objects may require more focus.
  • Improved Telekinesis - Spell; recharge 2; the unicorn racial talent can also be affected by Improved Spellcasting, allowing its use in highly detailed or complex tasks such as watchmaking, or lifting extreme weights or multiple individuals.
  • Commune - Spell; ask the dead for aid. The better you roll, the more helpful they are. Crit fail summons a hostile undead.
  • Commune Last Rites - Spell, once per day; the caster can project into the memory of the deceased subject, witnessing their immediate surroundings at the moment of their death.
  • Transfix - Spell; overpowers an opponent's mind, keeping them helpless. You must maintain the effect with successive rolls.
  • Transfix Influence - spell, once per combat; the caster gains very basic control of the targetís actions, and must make a successful roll each turn to maintain control. This effect ends if the caster fails a roll, or when the target becomes helpless.
  • Touch of Death - Spell; touch an enemy to cause them to age rapidly. Kills on a crit.
  • Touch of Life - Spell, recharge 1; the caster channels life energy from a helpless or willing victim to a chosen benefactor. The victim takes 1-4 wounds, depending on the success of the roll (6 transfers 1 wound, 8 transfers 3, etc); the chosen benefactor heals the same amount. This spell does not work with undead creatures.

Inventory

  • Bed Roll
  • Partially Burnt Book
  • Light Ironwewave Armor
  • Sickle
  • Rations
  • Journal

Intimidating is a word to describe Samedi. Tall and built, this dark purple stallion is riddled with faded scars. He keeps his long black mane back in a ponytail, and sports full facial hair. His horn is curved and jagged, though regardless of his appearance, his pale green eyes look surprisingly kind.

  • Heightened Senses: passive; +1 to perception-based rolls (spotting, searching, listening, etc)

Spells:
  • Dragon Breath: spell, recharge 2; fuck them, you're a dragon. When you choose this spell, choose the elemental type it channels; you can train multiple instances of this spell to use different elements. This element does not confer additional effects, but can affect specific types of targets differently. You can use this spell to attack at range as though you were using Cleave, targeting closely-grouped enemies with a +1 increase to your crit fail range (2- crit fails on 2 targets, 5- on 5 targets, etc).

Re: Cast List
Name: Pebbles
Race: Diamond Dog
Gender: Female
Talent: Stealing!
Class: Trickster (Bard/Rogue)
Skills:
  • Burrowing: Diamond dogs can dig tunnels and holes with ease, setting traps, moving unseen and fleeing in unexpected directions.
  • Bluff: whatever you say to someone, they firmly believe it.
  • Backstab: weapon; strikes the enemy from behind. Auto crits if hidden. Crits on a 9+ otherwise. Kills helpless targets.
  • Trap: spend a turn; starting next turn, first enemy to attack is helpless for one turn.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Inventory:
[List]
[*] Backpack
[*] A handful of gems; a small fortune... or a couple day's good eatin'.
[*] A couple of stale emergency rations to help... ration out the the gems.
[*] Light Ironweave chain shirt -- all the protection of a regular chain shirt, without any of the encumbrance!
[*] A pair of knives for sticking and cutting, and a plenty more for throwing! All mysteriously well-hidden, of course.
[*] A shovel, for when you don't want to get your claws dirty, or when you can trick somebody into doing the digging for you (can double as an improvised great weapon, in a pinch).

History: What's a Diamond Dog doing out of her caves, you ask? Well... long story short, she got exiled from her clan for eating out of her packmates' gem piles a bit too much and a few times too often. Atypically for a diamond dog, she doesn't like to work too hard or dig too far for her own food, so instead she sticks to steals them! More so now that he's stuck aboveground in pony lands. In fact, she's already done on her share of daring thefts and clever cons -- but when you end up eating most of your haul all the time, the whole gig sort of becomes a full-time job.

Description: Standing eye-to-eye with most ponies, Pebbles is fairly short for a diamond dog; with large eyes, huge ears, and short nose*, she is hardly what one would call an intimidating specimen of her species, despite (not that that is a bad thing when you're traveling amongst herbivores, of course). She's fit beneath her scruffy yellow coat, but not to the point where anyone would call her brawny; generally speaking, she wears a sleeveless shirt with a light shirt of chainmail over it. Two plain-looking knives are tucked into plain-looking scabbards hanging from her belt (no pants, though), while a small array of smaller knives are secured to a bandolier hanging across. Never one to get her claws dirty from honest digging if she can help it, Pebbles carries a shovel as a tool and unlikely weapon in her hands.

*Think of a Fennec Fox, perhaps with a touch of Chihuahua.
