Re: Green Room (OOC)

Not really sure... Perhaps because you don't get to try again :)

I'm better at things I can do again if I don't get them right at the first attempt.

Still, they say you learn from your mistakes more than from your successes. Looks like I'm going to learn a lot in the near future :P

Re: Green Room (OOC)

Just so you guys know, I’m working on getting some sketches of the riverboat to help you plan your assault. Continue to talk amongst yourselves while I finish up.

Hey gang. This has been a heck of a busy week. And it is not over yet. Delayed on the riverboat casino details, but hope to be making progress on that front soon.

Hang in there.

It's widely credited to have come from John Lennon.  I don't know that he didn't get it from someone else first and merely made it famous.

Re: Green Room (OOC)

I guess what they say is true. There is nothing more stressful and time consuming then buying a house. Especially for a first time buyer with a very short window of opportunity.

It has been a steep learning curve in the vanes of real estate law, finance, and government bureaucracy, but we are getting near the end of our direct involvement. The bulk of what remains to do is mostly out of our hands. We are two inspections and a ream of paperwork away from purchasing our first house. Things are looking up, but I won’t be able to relax until we do the actual closing and finish the deal.

Thank you for being patient. I will try to get something up in the game soon. If you have not had the opportunity to watch the Baseball World Series, St. Louis is leading 3 games to 1 over Detroit. Game 5 is tonight. And there have been several shots of the Arch, since that is the most recognized symbol for St Louis.

Go Team!

I know as much about sports as I do about the Spanish Language. And I only know enough Spanish to make sure I order Carne Guisada becasue I don't really like Carne Asada

Re: Green Room (OOC)

First of all, I want to apologize for this delay. It has been a busy year with a lot of ups and down. This latest venture is not yet complete, but it is at the point where it is out of my control. Things should be getting more stable from here.

I would like to have a roll call. Who is still with us and able to play? If you are willing but limited in time or access, please let me know.

Next, I have posted the layout of the Riverboat Casino under Notice: The Casino. All of the artistic credit goes to my wife. I just commented and pointed. The port side of the vessel, (bottom of the pictures) will be the side that is tied to the shore when it is not underway. The bow faces up river, to protect the paddlewheel.

We can assume a combination of sketches from the recon trip put this layout together. We now have something for you to plan your assault. Go ahead and make those plans, talk about them in game. When that is done, we will move to executing that plan and see what happens. If you have any questions, please ask me.

Here, sir.  Continued access should be good.  November and/or December may prove to be challenging but i don't expect, debilitating.

I'm still here, and I should be able to post regularly - but my clinical placement begins soon and I think it will leave me a wee bit tired to begin with.  ;-)

Honest! If you don’t believe me, google it yourself. Some literary license was taken in the physical description and clientele, but most of the facts are true.

Re: Green Room (OOC)

I think he means the club Dante’s is real. When I googled it along with St. Louis I found this: Dantes is an upscale Top 40's, Latin, and Techno Nightclub. We are "THE" 3 am Nightclub in Downtown St. louis!
Come party with us and enjoy a HUGE dance floor with plenty of Bars and Amenities. As well as exlusive VIP areas overlooking the dance floor. “Good sound, somewhat small dance floor, good lighting, not a place to meet people, but a good place for a group of people, who come to play.”

Re: Green Room (OOC)

Busy busy busy! Two weeks ago I was on a business trip to Chincoteague, VA. Then I had a bad tooth that needed to be dealt with. Next week I will be in Miami, FL. And then it is off to Corpus Christi TX for a week. I should have good connectivity while I am on my trips.

Back to the game.

Re: Green Room (OOC)

Iain, you will be in the public areas of the casino boat until the pre-arranged time to make your move down the employee stairs to the lower deck and then to the larger security room. You will pass the "Undead Archway" to get to that room on the lowest deck. If you could, please type up what you do to kill time and then sneak downstairs and PM it to me. I will post it when the current scene wraps up.

Dren, You and Johnny will arrive and first go to the VIP room I described then onto the private poker room. We could work out the start of that scene in side scene, group 2.

I'm still in Corpus Christi but will be home next week, where my books are.
