Tijis Gildentree:
Um, wow, all those guards have 63 hp. I'm metagaming here a bit fellas, since you normally don't know the enemy's hp, but can we handle all that even with a semi-ambush here?

They are probably all level 3 or level 4 brutes. Seems like a suicide. I'm game.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
In reply to Darr (msg # 494):

I say go for it...

and without Metagaming info..Dak would definitely go for it.

Either way, I say go for it! It won't be that hard to kill them. :)

If I dont give you all a suicide level encounter you beat it in 3 rounds or less. Just saying its hard to balance this group's encounters so when I got the itch for this setting where nothing needs to be balanced I though 'no better group for that kind of thing'.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
Maeruhn please edit that post to make one surprise action happen first. You will get Iaijutsu and you can just edit in the ambush action nothing for your first turn changes just the surprise round was skipped. To get the post flowing everyone can take their surprise and +14 initiative turns in one post.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
OK done. I can't remember if surprise turn counts as 'first' turn for powers that include that word. I think it does, and thus I do not crit on my 3rd attack.
If I remember wrong please let me know so I can change damage to crit.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
Since I only attacked 5 I would have stayed where I moved to first. I have moved myself back to where I would have stayed.
This will change a few thing for your turn.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
Oh, sorry... I thought I wasn't acting because I had low initiative. Not that I was going to do anything USEFUL with my action... except maybe get closer... dang move speed.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
In reply to Darr (msg # 501):

Well Y'all...I'm kinda at a loss with my next action. bought the only thing I can do right now is a basic Melee attack, which is damn near useless with me...My normal attack (burning spray) is my best option, but its a close blast 3, which means that Roger, Tijis, and Darr are likely all within my blast area...I could do a ranged attack, but that would leave me open to an Opportunity attack...

Thoughts?

I just want to say that I won't be taking my move until our GM has confirmed that he has seen that I didn't move 2nd time, and thus the enemies that attacked me has to be moved somewhere else.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
They will still all attack you as there are no other targets available. It does not put you out of range of anyone that hit you. One will have to charge but it missed so i will not change anything other than move them adjecent to you. I should be able to edit that tonight. Or someone can move them to this grid

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
I know I have been absent but are you all still around? We can push through this bit of story and start fresh of we need to. I think that might be a good approach with how much missed time I have had on here.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
Sorry for not calling this sooner but I really dont have the time or drive to keep this going.  It has been great playing with you guys over these three years, wow that pretty cool for pbp. Hope you will look back at destroying the keep with fond memories I upgraded the last half of the keep by like twice as hard and it barely slowed you down. Had big goals for the current setting but they didn't pan out.

Thanks for playing.

Re: Wait what? (OOC)
Sorry to see this go here is my full story since this game is going away nice playing with everyone ;).
Goals:  Roger wants to finally own his own ship and be a captain.  To obtain this end he has decided to quit being a pirate for other crews and to go after all the hidden treasures dotted across the land.  He will then forma crew and become one of the wealthiest and most deadly of pirates ever.  I want Roger to grow as character to loss his greed and come to terms with his past and choose to become a noble warrior instead of a greedy pirate.

Secrets:  He keeps the fact that he was a pirate secret as he is not exactly famous among the general people.  He also keeps the locations of all the buried treasure a secret.  The other secret his the plot to capture him that was instigated by an old foe that he never gave a second thought to at the time.

People Roger knows:  Captain Edward Gully the first pirate captain Roger served under.  Roger knows this captain well who has now retired Roger can always call upon this captain for support or intel.  Roger also knows Lou Moon a female pirate that he once had a love interest with however he has not seen Lou in two years.  He does not know that he is being chased by Romone Westland a officer in the navy.  While Roger  was on one his many raids of naval vessels he encountered Romone and crossed blades with him.  Roger utterly humiliated Romone, but Roger left Romone alive Roger then pushed Romone into the sea on a small raft.  However Romone survived this and washed ashore and when he did he then used his contacts to not only put a price on Rodger head, which was only to known by fellow naval officers Romone now hunts Rodger to get revenge.

Memories etc: Roger very fondly remembers his first sailing adventure.  The waves were crashing across the shore as he entered the ship, many expected him to not have his sealers yet however he adapted very quickly.  He also remembers how on that voyage the very first boat he raided a small trading vessel it offered little resistance, but he remembers his first kill and while it sickened him some he quickly realized that this would become a permanent part of his life.  He also has a very odd quick were he not only knows a lot about gems he has can not stop staring at them no matter how hard he tries.  He also remembers the largest treasure he has ever seen he could not even begin to count how much gold and jewels were in the chest.  However a fight brook out shortly after amongst all the pirates Roger nearly escaped with his life.  Only a few other people surveyed including Lou they then sailed away injured and bloodied, but when they left the sea itself seemed to swallow up the island never to be seen again… or so he thought, for rumors of an island rising from the sea itself have started to swirl around taverns.  Roger is now trying to see if these rumors are true before trying to reclaim this lost treasure.
