Re: OOC refreshedt

It's only going to be you and me from now on. With my 2nd job I will not have time for more than 1 player anymore. To be honest even when I didn't have the 2nd job I still had frequent "GM burnout" (I assume you know what that is).

Re: OOC refreshedt

Well in all honesty you didn't really give me much to work with.

You tell them to leave.

...and then what? Are you waiting for someone else to come forward? Are you going away? Training? Sleeping? Do you want to take the cases one at a time or just fast forward through the whole process and say you just dealt with them as best you could in similar fashion as you dealt with the previous case.

No worries, it was for everyone: a hardware upgrade of the servers that didn't go as planned.

Re: OOC refreshedt

Nice post but you didn't exactly tell me what your next move is. Do you come closer and read the inscription? Do you just leave? Do you have an actual question or request for the "kami"?

Re: OOC refreshedt

I just stopped there to leave you the opportunity to react to Nozomu showing her mark.

But she will approach to read the stone after that (after all, the kami might as well have invited her to do so), but cautiously… she doesn't want to piss the thing off. Or get eaten. Or… Well, anyway, she's cautious.

Re: OOC refreshedt

Might need to quit my job.

Work as a cashier.

Make next to no mistakes during a week with cash   1-2 over a entire week or less.

Drawer is repeatedly 5 to 60 bills short.

Been watched closely since being hired via security.

No one informed me cash was going missing for over 2 months.

I know my drawers should be 2 to 6 bills OVER due to people saying keep change.

The cash in my drawer is actually correct and above the machine count.

The digital tips from credit card reciepts as counted by the machine and the subtracted from my draw.

The amount of these digital sign tips is too high.

my drawer - tips should be fine.
My drawer - these exagerated tips is too low.

This only occurs during night shifts, even if i'm not the cashier.

The problem is larger when we have a higher amount of customers.

Tuesday I will be running a manual notebook log, slowing down business transactions.

I will record every payment received, change given out.

I will seperatedly record the ammount of tips given, and credit card totals.

and cross compare.

I'm doubly suspicious because when i first learned of the problem i kept checking the machine count periodically, and could account for cash payments received, but not once did the tips i entered into the machine get counted into the cash drawer tally.

The fact that the system mixes Digital transactions tips with the physical cash drawer is enough to make me suspicious.

If the machine is wrong, and management doesn't belive me, I'm putting in my 2 weeks notice.

Re: OOC refreshedt

I know what's that like. Used to work as a cashier myself once. Now they fuck with me by sending me in 2 different countries in 8 days! Why can't these boomers realize that not everything has to be done in person?

BTW, if you hit a rut on the employment thing, you can do some part-time work for the company I work for if you want. It's comission only (you don't become an actual employee with a salary until you hit position 3 or 700 points to be precise) but on the flip side you determine your own hours, you don't have a boss brathing down your neck and how much money you make is 100% up to you and you alone, your skill+time put into it.
