7. Character Description - Gundo stands 5'4" and weighs 155 pounds. His hair is described as treacherous gold because it displays all the hues of the metal in a nearly ominous fashion and his eyes are polished copper because they also shift according to the light. Gundo is a scholar, a physician, and a cleric.
8. Writing Sample -

Gundo was born Guntram Clavian in the region of Burgundy, but has come to use the local styling of the name after an extended stay in Venice. He came to this cosmopolitan city to partake of its knowledge and opportunity. Little did he know that it would leave him broke.

It was his own fault really. The fire for knowledge burned so brightly within him that for a time that could be counted only as many seasons, Gundo locked himself away to study, research, experiment, and absorb. The time did wonders for his mind, but took a toll on his psyche.

When he could brook it no more, Gundo burst from his apartments and plied himself with wine, women, and song, and delicacies of food like he had never experienced before. Gundo became sated by this lifestyle for a time, but not long after his arrival in Venice, the opportunities for new pleasures made him succumb to his old vices.

And as his inhibitions went, so did his finances. At the moment, Gundo thought that he had no more than five gold in total to his name. Thankfully, Gundo at least had the foresight to become a member of the Mercenary Guild here in Venice before he found himself penniless and out on the streets. Surely he could recoup enough money to sustain him by taking odd jobs until the golden goose found it suitable to reward him with a few choice eggs.
