The devil doesn’t even bother to stand. It teleports atop the force wall, teleporting away from Agon’s force-grip. He leaves behind a cloud of smoke that slows the legs of the dragon and the dragon-kin. He then vanishes from sight.

Move: Brimstone Cloud, teleports and hits Sonliin and Darratheir as part of a zone created; each is slowed (save ends). Action Point: Beleth becomes invisible.

Darratheir, Harald and Sonliin you’re up! Please note the bonus to attack and damage provided by Martha.

NOTE THAT X IS INVISIBLE. Anyone who does not note this in their turn will be penalized a Benny.

Sonliin scanned the area, waiting for the Devil to reappear so he could send him away on a short trip.


ooc: Ready action, wait for the devil to reappear and cast Dimensional Cascade on him.

18:56, Yesterday: Sonliin rolled 18 using 4d8 with rolls of 4,6,3,5.  Dimensional cascade.
22:49, Today: Sonliin rolled 45 using 1d20+31 with rolls of 14.  Dimensional Cascade  on X vs will.
If it hits, then X will disappear, take 4 points radiant, 6 points thunder, 3 points lightning and 5 points cold damage, and reappear at the beginning of his turn.(Paladins Truth to ignore resistances)

It also takes ongoing 5 damage for each type.

Moving with difficulties, Darratheir slowing got outside on the Brimstone cloud. Feeling better now that he breath with more ease, he shout at Beleth. "Show yourself, coward. Come and face us!"

‘Ha ha!’, Martha cackles at the devil. ‘You think you can hide from ME!’ She blasts the entire area the devil is hiding with light, and the devil pops out, surrounded by a glowing nimbus.

Sublime Light (Close burst 5) vs X reflex, d20+31 (+1 rad +1 sun, prone/CA), hits vs 48 reflex, 37 rad dmg & blinded eont & loses invisible eont & agon, gromley, dara & sonliin may make a saving throw.

Spirit of Healing (minor) next to Zog and Agon: anyone adjacent gains +7hp whenever they hit with an attack. EONT (sustain minor)

The devil is hammered by the party's ranged attacks upon his return. At this point, there is nothing for the devil to do except try to get into the portal. He teleports away from Sonliin, though Sonliin ignores the side effects of the devil’s brimstone burst when he vanishes; he reappears next to Harald & Zog and tries to crawl into the portal...

Harald and Zog, each of you get an OA on X. Note that you have CA because he's still prone.

NOBODY TAKE THEIR FULL TURN. Wait to see how the OAs resolve first.

With a shout of triumph, the devil steps into the portal!!

And then there is a scream. A massive head--the head of Bahamut--snaps through the portal with the devil in his mouth and snaps the devil in half.

Bahamut moves through the portal and morphs into human form. "Well done, friends. You have done well. Let us return to Celestia and rest. The day is won, and there is something new to consider. A turning point approaches for the Multiverse."

Giving you a chance to react before the cut-scene.

When Bahamut appeared to congratulate them, Darratheir nodded the head as a sign of appreciation. Fighting the urge to perform his cleansing ritual, he nonetheless listened to the God to get more insight about their future mission.
