Re: Awards and Treasure

I'll put in a point towards the house/base.

Would the room be large enough to set up a small workspace to eventually work on Herb Lore potion making once I can afford lab equipment?

In reply to Nodwin Zideqick (msg # 25):

Point was included.
This house has three stories, a sleeping attic that could be divided, a second floor with a rudimentary kitchen, a ground floor that could be a workshop. An herbary lab would need a window, as on the second floir; it could be ourfitted as an herbary and alchemical lab, and a basement that leads to the cult area and bone gate..

If more than 6 points are collectively spent, you can expand to the house next door and get private spaces.

After our next journey I'll put additional point(s) towards the base, depending on what we still need to get the next door building.

Re: Awards and Treasure

We appear to have 5 points, do we want to spend them now for the one house, or go back down below in the morning, after a good night's sleep, and see if we can make a few more to get both buildings?  Nodwin can be ready to go in the morning, he doesn't need any specific supplies before returning, and his spells are a little better and more efficient.

I'd say let's get the first oe and then work on getting the second as you suggest. Jocelyn and company can also go in the morning.

Narrator, can we get one house now, then the next door one once we can afford it?

So could Jareth (not sure about the hirelings), but... there are a few things he wants to do which I suspect might take an ingame day.  Waiting on PM response from our Narrator.

A good night's sleep and a couple decent meals would see Mario ready to go.  Depending on which restoration is applied, he might still be pretty slow on his feet...

Re: Awards and Treasure

You can get the first one for 3 points; ideally both houses would be 1 point each, Jareth and Mario both spent points reducing liability I have to make a roll to see about instant restoration

Ok, Nodwin will go to the Haderum to register the house, if anyone wants to go with?

Does the Hadereum regulate property ownership within the city?  I'd think the Baron would have vested interest in property control.

Though if the Hade does regulate property ownership in the city, that's one of the places Jareth needs to go to do some research.

I read that as making the "tax free" perk from Flavius's writ permanent and registered -- for which Mario did spend one CP.

Well... kind of.  I still have my disad, it's just pared with and advantage that cost 1 point more than the disad turning it into a perk.  Jareth still suffers the effect of the disad... indeed, in order to get the bene he has to suffer the disad.

Indeed.  Overall, regaining most of the use of my leg is worth more than improving my Bow skill -- though the latter is still in my future, mark my words.

For Sakemoko's  people:

Each of you has a 1pt advantage: member of Sakemoko's  household. This reduces CoL from $150 a week to $50 a week, and sort of combines patron 5 and duty 5.

Each of you also recieves a garment of Sakemoko's  livery, a gray silk overtunic with his seal stitched in red over the left breast. Those of you who acquire rank in the household have an additional notation.

You are further each gifted with 5 strings of cash
(Each string has 20×$4copper coins) and each is also given an item suited to their profession. Those getting knives or kits recieve them in decirative wooden boxes.
