Arriving on the upper level, Reanna glances in the direction of the commotion, but seeing as it is being handled and of no concern to her, she ignores it, opting instead to head to the conference room that Master Aemon had said Mistress Camilla was in.

"Master Broderick, Mistress Draegan has just arrived. Do you gentlemen wish to inculde her?"

Excellent... I presume discussing the situation in the Conference room is acceptable. he enquires. If there are no objections he accompanies them.

A man in livery approaches Reanna.
"Mistress, a few of the masters are meeting, and would be pleased if you were present for the discussion."

Reanna had barely taken three steps towards the conference room that Mistress Camilla was in when Carruthers stopped her to invite her to join the discussion. She sighed as she preferred to stay out of guild politics, but knew it would be an affront to the others to decline. Putting on a pleasant smile, she agrees to the request, "Itd be an honor to join in."

Following the Masters into the small room Broderick slipped into a chair that he couud face anyone who was in the room. Once they were seated he prompted Master Ashbury for his views on the situation.

Broderick nodded an acknowledgment of Ashburies statement. He glanced at the other two, as a rash of questions regarding the Guild Masters change of plans popped into mind; prompting Broderick to politley wait until the others had commented.

Reanna listened to Ashbury rant and when he was finished, thought for a moment before speaking up, "I'm afraid I have little knowledge of the guildmaster's expansion plans. What was planned and how do the orcs and goblins play into it?"

"There is currently some sort of internecine feud among the gobkin, and it is disrupting Lepkur's gambling
Operations, of which the guild recieves a sizeable share.
Hitomi the cat burglar recently made favorable contact with
some trolls living deep under little Shevnia, and Rigo is sponsering trade with them. He wants to get licensing from
the Hadereum to establish trade under the city, now that
access below is becoming licensed, so that resupply stations

thought he could hire his own people for this, and Rigo

I can't envisage the Guildmaster changing their plans unless a more profitable alternative was suggested. Perhaps we could consider some options to suggest or some means to circumvent possible & respective losses. For example instead of providing staff for the resupply points looking at diversifying into the supplies themselves.

Locating other egresses would be a reasonable step, or perhaps approaching DuClair with investment proposal. Broderick suggested thinking of possibilities. Or even both. he mused then glanced at Reanna Mistress Draegan would you have any knowledge of perspective passages, or perhaps be interested in participating in an expedition to locate some.

"While I know little of that area, I will gladly lend a hand if it helps the guild out," Reanna offered. As she had no other prospective opportunities, she felt she might as well make the best of this situation.

Nodding in response to Reanna's reply, Broderick faced the other Madters.I would presume there are time and financial constraints attached to this endeavour. Could you both provide an approximation of your estimates.

day for clearing out. And making the site habitable.

OOC "points" meaning CP of independent income, and the going rate is $30 for 62pt characters, $60 for 125pters and $120 for 250 point characters

operations  are not something I wish to engage in, but I suppose I must pay for transport and security, but we do need a destination for the provinder I provide."

Broderick thanked the Masters for their Contribution and asked if they had any thoughts on a time frame and team size for this task. If the Masters appear to be skimping or reluctant with their contribution he'll state that he will accompany the group as well as provide an equal portion in goods, services or finances that the Mastets are contribute to this endeavour.

ooc What would be the typical size and composition for expeditions of this type?

Typical operations of this sort involve a few fighting types,
A minimum  of one retreival expert to deal with locks and other hazards, and a spellcaster for any supernatural circumstances there are two fighter types belowstairs right now, and probably  a few mercenary  types. Area knowledge of Northport  at -2 would locate a suitable investment   property .

Masters I suspect a group containing a min of 2-3 Locksmiths and Spellcasters with about twice that Muscle which would suggest a group of 13-15 however a minimum would need two Locksmiths, one Spellcaster and 3 Muscle Would you agree.

"One good locksmith should be sufficient. And it will keep the group size smaller and quieter."

"What about a healer or some such?"

Roderick rubs his chin absently as he considers her statement then adjusts his appraisal. Wondering is she be a capable substitute, if that one is out of commission. Fair enough one locksmith, one caster and two muscle. Mistress Draegan would you happen to have specific Locksmith, Caster and Guards in mind
