Gorgath continued to move around those in front of him and Lacuda until suddenly everyone began parting before them.

Shaking his head with a big sigh, Gorgath turns and nods to the fishwoman as they move through the district.

In reply to Gorgath (msg # 759):

You both catch looks, the ususal, hide your children, and your women kind of thing, but at least a few look at your armor and the Doomrazor as if recognizing your reputation. As you pass some fishook and net vendors, there is quite a bit of grumbling.

Gorgath either ignores or just doesn't notice the onlookers and angry faces and instead focuses on getting Lacuda to her destination.

Re: In the City of the People of the Pit
In reply to Gorgath (msg # 761):

The crowd hangs back and you make it to the marina. There are a number of dockworkers, some in slings and bandages, who look and point with their chins at Lacuda. They seem unsurprised by an ogre, but fishfolk are grounds for consternation. One of them runs off toward the harbor master's office.
Lacuda looks up at you and speaks in trollish.
"I fear chase by men on water."

Re: In the City of the People of the Pit
Gorgath looks at the fish woman and then back towards the onlookers. A moment passes before his eyes open wider,

"Ahh."

The ogre looks down then back towards the crowd, "They only see outside. Not inside. They will chase, they will want you dead."

Looking back to Lacuda, he whispers, "We should get boat."

In reply to Gorgath (msg # 763):

Ooc:
No problem, happens every time my tablet refreshes. Another group with Sorsha forming soon, could use you.

The harbor master, and a couple of green cloaked guards approach cautioysly with the laborer. They stand nervously looking at you in full gear. The harbormaster clears his throat.
"Ahem. You are with the Deep Guard, aren't  you? May I ask what you are doing with that...Sahaugin? They are known enemies, and have been sinking ships and cutting nets."

"Her name Lacuda and she held as prisoner underground by slug things for very long time. She not know about you, your family or your nets and boats. She just want to go home."

Gorgath held his arm out, trying to shield Lacuda from the men's words, if he could.

In reply to Guardsman (msg # 770):

The harbormaster looks on them askance.
"Perhaps because he is a known hero and a member of the deepguard. I have never seen any of her kin with jewelry like that. Bid her tell her people not to trouble our fishing fleet."

She pulls off a pair of her arm bands. One she gives to Gorgath, who might wear it as a thumb ring, and the other she holds out to the harbormaster.

Gorgath nods as he accepts the jewelry and smirks as he pushes down on his thumb.

Gorgath admires the bracelet turned ring and half turns to the harbormaster,

"This makes you friend of fish people. They not attack."

Gorgath, now at loose ends, might seek employment as he has before, as a caravan guard...
