OOC:  The adamantine sand is in chests literally chained to the guards/porters.  "Sampling" some would be... problematic.

OOC -  I gathered they were filling the chests here, so we might be able to take some after they took this load with them... of course, Johan doesn't know what it is, but figures it must be useful if they are gathering it....

OOC:  They were unfilling the chests here and using magic to shape it into structural supports for the floor, walls, and ceiling.

They were also reducing some of the supports left by Flax into sand and
refilling the chests. In any case, they seem to have secured most of it, but there may be more things in the rubble.
