Gareth's conversation with himself seems to have finished with a question about who controls the  Trolls. Perhaps the voices ran out of troll puns...

A swarm of armed trolls enter the room. Seeing it under control, they part revealing the troll elder,  Angrid, who eyes Gareth and Lacuda suspiciously.

GrandMother, we rescued three from some sort of perpetual embalmment, one a Dark Elf went with her kind when we met them and these two came with us... the fish person asks to be taken to the sea and his one seeks work for pay.

Gareth says nothing for once, but nods in agreement, as if to agree that summed things up pretty well.

"Yes Grand mother, he helped us and he is in need of pay. He also desires to go and kill those who almost ate him, so if you plan to send more down, he will be willing to help" she tries to help Gareth

He smiles warmly at Sorcha for her help, a look that suggested the fiery red headed elf was not a bad sort.

The fish person makes a gesture, backing up while flexing her gill
covers, and opening her webbed hands while letting her spear fall back
into the crook of her elbow.
" Au, ua mahalo no kou hookipa ia mai lakou, mua.

Angrid seems to understand the gesture as one of respect, and nods.
Speaking in her heavily accented  Aralaise, she replies.
"She is far from home. As an enemy of our enemy, she is our ally. Bring her... soolase vee van."


Several trolls scurry off, returning with a large metal tub, or possibly a roasting pan. Then several of them bring buckets of what smells like seawater, and begin filling the tub.

"Eia ka he wai auau o ka moana paakai iʻoe i hoʻomaha ai a hoi hou oe i ka ili, e loaʻa i kou kai."

"Inā 'oe makemake, au hiki haawi aku oe i ka makana o ka' ōlelo a koʻu poe kanaka e au e olelo me ia, aʻaʻole pono iaʻu e unuhi ia oe. Ua makemake wale e? Aiaiiuie me ia mea kilokilo.

The fish person gratefully submerges herself in the bath, sighing
"Mahalo"
Before sinking her head under the water.

Seeing the fishy person immerse themselves, Gareth shrinks back.

Give me a firebath any day..." he mutters with a shiver.

She looks Gareth "What, you don't like the idea of a nice hot bath or something?"
