with her wailing. The others avert their eyes. Hrunting readies his axe, and Fenric shakes his head.

Darg stares for a second and blinks it off.

Misha changes grips on his knives, and looks to Sorsha.

Melchizedek simply recasts sunbolt, ready to use the strobe to aim...

Sorsha shakes her head. She continues to build her spell.

Stark seems mesmerized and sways to the squalling...

Gorgath's face goes slack for a moment at the wailing, but quickly regains his composure and grins as he closes in on his foe.

Fenric and the three unaffected  archets nock arrows and aim at the creature.

In reply to troll archer (msg # 138):

Gorgath is within striking distance. The trolls let fly their arrows, which strike its torso.

In the distance, there is another keening wail...

With the creature within striking distance, Gorgath lashes out with several well-placed slashes.

Yoy are on the outer road that leads back to the bridge. It continues on, and there is an alleyway to the left. Two rampways gead up to buildings on either side.  The answering
Sound is coming  from an area triangulated by the road you came from, and the alley.

Gorgath dug his feet in solidly as he crossed the bridge. About halfway he paused and gave a quick glance over the edge.

In reply to Gorgath (msg # 147):

Climbing up the rampway gives ine an odd sensation of vertigo. After nearly slip sliding in an inappropriate  direction, Gorgath finds himself clinging to the edge of a circular  portal, that oddly  feels like  the way 7n is down, not ahead.

Ulo stops casting.

"I think you are right priest.  You are no tactician.  You would have us go deeper into the city to be cut off from our only escape?"

Fenric touches his bow to Ulo's staff and points with his lips up toward Gorgath at the top of the tower.

Clarification Please- Is Gorgath up in a tower or back on the bridge?

"We need different kinds of mages to take on these critters. They need to be one that can summon elementals or something"

Gorgath ascened a ramp to the top of one of the pyramid towers, I thought.

Gorgath stopped his ascent toward a tower to check for other creatures but had stopped on the ramp. Feeling a bit queasy, he motioned for Stark.

Stark makes his way up to Gorgath...
