Re: Broderick's Expedition

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 404):

"We splice and braid everything from hawsers to silken rope, if you can get the raw from the Weavers, that is. We outfit all the vessels on the docks, and every washerwoman hanging clothes."

Ooc: rates are standard as in DF1, Basic and Low Tech, adjusted downward by merchant skill. Your wealth controls the rate at which you sell, but you can add some of your rank to the merchant roll.

In reply to Rafinko of the Ropemaker's Guild (msg # 405):

Broderick assumed the Ropemakers Guild would have a monopoly with the Nautical and Laundry markets. He suspected they hadn't considered other such as Entertainers, or Bowyers. Master Rafinko, how much raw would you be requiring and would this be a steady supply or variable.

Broderic nods at the quantities mentioned. Is this part of what you are seeking to have supplied?

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 408):

"That would help our business, yes. Finding more work for my people outside of rope making would be of benefit as well. Many hobgoblins splice and braid or soak and beat the fibers, but others are more suited to hauling, fighting or other professions."

Re: Broderick's Expedition

In reply to Rafinko of the Ropemaker's Guild (msg # 409):

Broderic thanks the Master Ropemaker giving him a nod then bids him a pleasant day. Returning to the group they retrace their steps, heading back to the part of the passages they haven't yet mapped; and continue their assignment.[Private to GM: Broderic will look into acquiring raw silk and possible areas hobgoblins are useful can be hired. ]

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 420):

If you get that close, you can make out two elves, an orc, and five humans. Two humans have a barrell in a barrow, and one elf is looking at a wrapped bundle the size of a man in front of a gate where you can just see a couple retreating forms.

Re: Broderick's Expedition

Broderick showed little concern that the groups movement was heard. Their task was to undertake what they were here to do. [Private to GM: Seated on Smashers backpack Phylicity also mapped out what they found.]
