Re: Broderick's Expedition

Dearest... If Rafik's situation is a Guild related issue surely it can wait until we've finished crawling about in these smelly passages.prompts Clair holding a scented lace kerchief forward and wiggling it to emphasise her statement.

Re: Broderick's Expedition

Clair deftly clambers down the ladder joining Broderick who's standing near Smasher. Giving a distasteful sniff she holds her scented kerchief to her nose. This room smells worse than it did before

Re: Broderick's Expedition

When the team had reassembled in the basement Broderick indicated the direction they would be headed next. He also briefed them as to the previous encounter with the Slorn and its general location, informing them that he wasn't aware where it may be but hoped it would be in the same general vicinity.

Re: Broderick's Expedition

This way if you please folks.  declares Broderick leading the group in the direction of the outer rooms and towards the one with the grate that isolates the Slorn from the rooms.

Along the right of the map is a stream/river this is where the Slorn is located. There is a grate that allows access to the river in the small room adjacent to the river.

Grimaldi spoke to Rafik:
"Master Broderick and company have said the thing remains behind a grate. If we get it's attention, you may be able to snipe it through the bars, as I thwart it's toxic cloud. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but this whole endeavor just might be like shooting fish, in a barrel..with arrows, and bolts of magic."

Re: Broderick's Expedition

I suspect the Slorn is attracted by movement. In regard to the slaying of this beast, do you think it will be possible to dispatch the creature quickly? As I'm hoping any injuries inflicted by missiles it will not drive it away forcing us to chase after it.

"Using such a skull in that way, destroys it, but it conjures forth a minor spirit, that will do my bidding, and attack whom I wish for 24 hours, until destroyed... mundane attacks are of little avail, and armor is of none. Things really get interesting when you invoke more than one... heh heh heh.."
Grimaldi gave a dry chuckle. This one seemed to have the bloodlust.

You should be more specific and use the term Non animal intelligence Humanoid rather that Sentient as that indicated lower creatures.
