Darius listened to the argument and especially Grimaldi's thaumatological description of the skull spirit. Quite interesting. "A necromancer," he rasped, "is, in my experience, no better nor worse than anyone else. It is a tool, nothing else. Do you blame the swordsman for all the innocent people slaughtered by swords?"
He smiled at the celestial. "Your gifts could be used to kill people. Mine could be used to give closure, or to find a murdered. Or, indeed," he nodded at Grimaldi's words, "to resurrect scum for the economical gain of the guild."
"Peace, celestial, at least until we leave this place? After that," he laughed, though it came out more rasping than laughing, "I would gladly debate philosophy with you."
