You have cleared all of the rooms down this end, and thought you had cleared the rooms down the other end... yet the mo nks came from that end.

OOC:  Wait... they came from behind us?  That makes no sense since they'd have to have moved past every one behind Jednesa to get to her.

Jednesa  had charged at them at full movement rate. The corridor is wide enough to accommodate  her passing someone.

OOC:  She did?  I didn't write that...  if that needs to have happened to fit the way it played out, I'm okay with it.  But that's not how I wrote her actions.

Re: In the Defiled Sanctuary

Jednesa begins to research those rooms.

OOC: No worries, it's all good.

02:33, Today: Jednesa rolled 12 using 3d6.  Perception 7, taking Extra Time +3 = 10.

Unless something dangerous is literally standing in the middle of a room, completely unhidden she misses it.  And even then she's likely to overlook any Doomchildren that aren't actively moving...

Seriously Dice Roller?  The one time she doesn't Take Extra Time she nails her Per check.  The other three times you give me a 12?  Each time?  O_o

The bunk in one of the rooms near where the monks appeared looks a little different...it seems to have no "underneath" just a slab of stone, and the rotted pallet on top is dislodged.

Malga'mar sits down on the wooden slab bed in the room where he had found the book.

OOC: Taking a little bit of time to recover FP while Jednesa searches the other rooms.

The room the monks came from looks to have something under the mattress,
but the support beneath it looks box shaped, rather than being a slab supported by legs.

Re: In the Defiled Sanctuary

Presuming someone went to the doors to alert Stenet of this staircase...  he'll mutter a brief prayer (in Dwarven) over the body of Micheal, and then go in.

He looks at the narrow stairs, looks at Jednesa's massive figure, looks at the stairs, back to her, to the stairs...

"Might be best if someone a wee bit smaller goes first."

He takes off his helmet and checks that the lamp is topped up, the wick trimmed to the right length, points to it and says to Cracker, "Light it up there eh lad?" and then (after re-donning the helm) proceeds cautiously down the stairs.

OOC:  02:03, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 11 using 3d6.  Per 12; descending the staircase.
MoS 1 for any beasties, MoF -3 for any traps.

The fire elemental illuminates the narrow stair, which carries down about 4 yards before ending in a landing about a yard square, with a archway to one side, that looks to be a yard wide by two high.

[Private to Azrael: you cannot detect any nearby spirits or undead, except vaguely from the vicinity of Brother Michael's room]
