Re: In the Defiled Sanctuary

In reply to Jednesa (msg # 632):

Once Jednessa arrives, Christine will ask her to wear her medallion.

"All right, lets follow the others. Jednessa, please make sure you are wearing that medallion. It might be good if we can have someone behind her if possible..."

In reply to Christine Bjorn (msg # 633):

As Jednesa recovers her things;
"Perhaps I was being too gentle in my suggestion."

At Christine's suggestion;

"I can follow her if we need someone back there to keep an eye on things."

"Huh?  Jednesa not have metal disk.  In little pouch Christeen want Jednesa protect?"

She opens her pouch, digs about a bit, and pulls out the tiny pouch.

"Jednesa wear this?"

In reply to Christine Bjorn (msg # 645):

"Dareos had cut the slab back into candles, and had reconsecrated the shrine, but I  don't know if he had lit any of these demon repelling candles up."

I purse my already thin lips and then speak;

Unfortunately, I cannot reconsecrate this shrine.  That would make it a shrine to Sethygg which, I'm sure you all could guess, would not remain once this place is reclaimed. Which would be offensive to me, and more importantly to Sethygg.

If we are concerned about it's current state, I can accept destroying it."

My facial tension relaxes a bit;

As for the candles, I've not burned any of them.  We could leave one burning at the shrine and take the rest with in case we need them."

Stenet scowls.

"Well then ain't nothing can be done about it, unless one of the rest you is ordained in some deity's name?"  He waits a few seconds, "Didn't think so, so burn one one of them candles and let's get back to it."

Re: In the Defiled Sanctuary

In reply to Christine Bjorn (msg # 654):

A candle is lit at the shrine now consecrated to Sethyg.

[Private to Dareos Madrigar: the candles are neutral, and being anti demon, are pleasing to Sethyg. If no one mentions it, and the monestary is repopulated, tnhe shrine will function as inadvertant worship of Sethyfg, even if prayers are made and incense are burned in anothers name]

In reply to Narrator (msg # 655):

OOC: Maybe a tiny retcon then.  Dareos DID consecrate the shrine to Sethygg.

"Ok.  We're all set.  I'm ready to go."
