In reply to Christine Bjorn (msg # 857):

The blue flames go out.  The flame snake floats away from the blackened skeleton, and the two wights advance.

In reply to Narrator (msg # 858):

"Oh, did you dispel them too? Guess the fires did what they could...now Jednessa can deal with them!"

She steps back and creates a stone missile this time.

Jednesa stops trying pat out the fires (as they've gone out) and readies her crude iron wedge turning back to face the wights.

Stenet steps into the gap between Christine and the archway, readying to strike the first wight to come within reach...

OOC:  Wait, Attack, the first Wight to come to 2 yards, Step and Attack.

13:06, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 14 using 3d6.  Attack, Wight, Axe 16 (Skill 18, Deceptive -2).  Wight -1 to defend.
13:07, Today: Stenet Fjall rolled 5 using 2d6+1.  Potential Damage:  2d+1.

Re: In the Defiled Sanctuary

Malga'mar hunches his massive frame down into an attack stance and awaits the approach of the wights.

"I will cast Bonk," Malga'mar whispers to Christine.

OOC: I will wait until the Wights are within 2 yards of me (moving if necessary.)  When that occurs, I will rush forward with an All-Out Determined (I can move 2 during an all-out and I have a reach of 2) against whichever wight Jednesa does not attack.

Can I do an overhead swing with the staff or am I limited to a thrust in the hallway?  Either way, I do relatively good damage, but the swing (obviously) hits much harder.

Am I allowed to spend FP for Might Blows?

Rolls: I'm swinging if possible.

 rolled 9 using 2d6+2.  Swing.
 rolled 4 using 1d6+2.  Thrust .
Malga'Mar rolled 12 using 3d6.  Determined Staff (16).

With everyone facing the wights, Christine steps back to see where that last doombrat might have gone.

"Chris, watch out for that last doombrat."

I start moving toward the sneezing sounds coming from the brat.

I shout toward everyone; "I'll find the little one.  What do you suggest I do with it once I find it?"

In reply to Malga'Mar (msg # 862):

Stenet cleaves into a wight, which seems not to mind very much.

Malga'Mar thrusts at a wight with the tip of the crozier.... this seems much more effective, as the wight screams and its charred flesh smokes where the crozier stikes it!

Malga'mar's crook hisses when it makes contact with the charred wight, and the skeletal thing looks shaken.

Haskell and Dareos drag the sneezing, screeching doombrat to the barrel of vinegar and plunge it in.
