There is a wet sound like dragging on this level, and a faint sound of hushed conversation  above.

/ooc sorry I haven't been on this past week, the new baby hasn't been allowing us much sleep or time to go online.

A foul smell comes from behind the porticullis as very sluggishly, the ruined  remains of the mottled grayish worm inch toward the bars.

The porticullis blocked a side passage that looped back. You can head right up the stairs from here.

With arrow nocked and bow string tensioned, Syvanus points up the stairs and then climbs them slowly and carefully, ready to draw and fire, as he looks around for anything or anybody.

Re: In the Lich's tomb

A familiar heavyset bald figure is on one of the horses, along with a hooded man, a lean blond man you recognize as Monorith, another vaguely familiar swordsman (Milton), and on the ground are more folks you recognize: Peytor, Grigor, Stavros, and Ludmilla, and four Bouda, or dogmen, but the dogmen look... dead.

Maybe we should drop back in here ... Kirpich, think you and your God could get us out elsewhere, away from these folks, who I think are here to rob us.

Re: In the Lich's tomb

"We could all probably use a bit of a rest and I imagine they are fairly fresh.
Stringfellow looks thoughtful.

We could head back inside, if they come in, we get them to fight the worm and maybe chase down to where the lich was.  We hide in the circular tunnel and when they go past, we come out the other side and escape up top, taking their horses and making a break for it.

If they don't come in, we rest up and then when ready, attack them from the dark entrance, picking them off from a distance and they can't flank us."

That summoning was a critical failure. When you tried to invoke the weapon of Grom, you were rebuffed, losing a point of fatigue and knowing that Grom disapproved of your use of the rod of the builder!

"I am going to have to appease Grom before I will be much help again. Lets head back to do so."
