And we would like to be rewarded for seeing to it's destruction. It is quite valuable to others who don't honor Grom, We have backers who would be very angry if we threw such a large sum away ... humans are somewhat greedy... and there were costs involved in our coming here. If Grom can aid us, we will gladly aid Grom.

Does Grom deign to talk to you? We could use some verbal input from him. Do we even know how to destroy this rod? Destroying powerful magical items can be disastrous for those nearby.

"I was thinking we wait until they come inside, somehow convince them to go down to the lich's room, while we use the circular tunnel to get behind them and scaring them if they notice us going up."
