ooc: Don't forget the chance to hit someone else, Danos. Makes firing into a melee extra fun!

Danos' arrow glances off of its helmet.

This skeleton is wearing a slightly  rusted chain hauberk and a helmet of a
different style from the ones you defeated earlier.

In reply to Syvanus (msg # 134):

Club recovers fully from a sudden loss of fatigue.

The sword being used by this undead warrior looks suspiciously like one wielded over forty years ago by the Shevnian captain of the lost pay train.
It was an heirloom of his family and won him many battles.

In the Lich's tomb

In reply to Oren (msg # 128):

OOC: I don't think there's a penalty to fire into melee if you have a clear LOF. Given the information the GM has provided, I don't think there's a problem.

From what I can tell, there are two people in melee with the monster, in a 3 yard wide hall. So something like this maybe?

         ___
     ___/Ske\___
    /Clu\let/Syv\
    \b__/   \anu/
    /   \___/   \
    \___/   \___/
    /   \___/   \
    \___/   \___/
    /Kir\___/Dan\
    \Pic/   \os_/

I know we're not actually doing combat with a tactical map, which is why I specified that Danos wouldn't fire if he didn't have a clear LOF since it's possible he might have. The GM said he did shoot, so I assume my LOF was clear.

In any case, it takes about four or five rounds for Danos to take a shot like that, so he's probably had his one and only shot for this monster.

If it's a real concern I can just switch to shooting non called shots, that way I'll be able to take the -4 for an intervening person and still have an effective skill of 16, which means my chance to hit someone in our party is less that 1%

The fire, club's  strikes and the arrow all seem to have done damage, but it seems to be ignoring the effects of these attacks. Perhaps they are not optimal to it's circumstance?

Club still seems a little wobbly.
