Oren, several steps up, brings his magic sword down atop the skull with a chopping motion.

ooc: Skill 15, +1 for height advantage (assuming 2-3 feet difference), -5 for the SM of a skull = 11. Hit.

8 cutting damage + any weird sword bonuses.

Kirpich fling his stone missile, but is so focussed on missing his friends that he missed the target as well.

The stone missile clatters down the hall. The blade, however, disrupts the hazy apparition where it passes through. The shimmering skull appears a bit lessened, but dives at Oren, just missing him. He feels the chill of its passage.

The Skull spiriot again wavers, looking diminished after being struck; the life force sustaining it cannot be dispelled.

Oren keeps his distance from the skull, keeping away from its horrible aura. He swung at it again, missing again.

Danos has an insight into how diffuse injury tolerance works, and lowers his bow.

In the absence of significant area affect spells, arrows can still damage diffuse foes, as can ordainary weapons... just not do a lot of damage.

Stringfellow takes the time to carefully aim at the small target, his arrow seems to pass through the corner of it with little effect.

flames around the skull seem to fade out, leaving a faintly glowing image of a skull floating in front of Oren.
