Syvanus  cuts down the last of the dog men. They have only crude and rusted piecemeal armor and weapons.

The only closeable doors you found here were the secret doors leading tto the Lich's chamber, and that chamber itself. The ossuary did not have a door.

Re: In the Lich's tomb

Closing ourselves in a room may become our final resting place... we need something to move these men away, or to allow us to exit elsewhere.

If every stone was turned up and torn appart, every seal sundered and the good earth beneath brought through yo cover it all, then it is certain that it will be made whole... what small steps taken along that path may cause some improvement remains to be seen.

Re: In the Lich's tomb

In reply to Narrator (msg # 790):

Hmmm, it seems that to improve the sanctity of this place he needs to learn the Volcano or Earthquake spell...I would consider asking Grom for the former but he does not have the fp to cast it, having expended all his items on the lich. Then we would still need an escape...what about him resting a bit then tunneling upwards to create a different exit?

Kirpich is thinking/musing aloud at this point, so others feel free to jump in...

Re: In the Lich's tomb

In reply to Narrator (msg # 793):

I think at this point in the absence of other ideas Kirpich will be wanting a place to rest up, before creating a new entrance with primarily shape earth, and some earth to stone for stability. What rolls should he make for that?

In reply to Kirpich Rockson (msg # 794):

An IQ-5 for stability of a rapid opening; taking time and trying to reinforce can help with that.

Throw me a thaumatology roll, or IQ-6 plus investiture

Kirpich takes his time to make sure the opening is stable enough for all of them.

[Private to GM: IQ-7 for stability, IQ-6 for Theumatology, PI = 6, both unmodified, so made both!]

1) you can make a stable exit
2) you can also use shape stone on the seals to deface them

3) you have not yet done either.

Re: In the Lich's tomb

In reply to Kirpich Rockson (msg # 798):

To clarify, the seals did two things:
1) alert the lich of the rod of the builder when it passed them
2) lower the sanctity and increase deathliness.

As your enemies have a necromancer, this condition does not impair them.
